We were on the edge of our seats too during that 4th quarter and I just knew they could pull it out too. Disappointing to say the least. Too many interceptions and turnovers. Oh well, there's spring and camping and fishing and kayaking to look forward to. And for us, we still have our hockey team who are doing alright.
I did really well on the food at the Superbowl party. Mostly ate my fruit tray and my shrimp tray but sampled 1/2 of a home-made mini calzone, 1/2 of a chicken fajita, 3 tortillas with 7 layer dip, 1.5 chocolate cookies, and 5 pcs of rye bread (bite size) with Reuben dip. That was awesome! I'm gonna have to make that one myself. Yummy and lots of sauerkraut so it was at least partly healthy. And easy to make too. And I had 1 beer.
I might have gained a little bit but I have a better attitude about it. I would let any gain, no matter how small, (even an oz) derail me but I've already made up my mind to keep trying and do it better. I have no upcoming celebrations or excuses of dinners out or weekend excesses to get in the way of my consistency.
Nothing coming up until Memorial Day weekend. That's almost 4 months I can really stick to my program and be consistent. I should see a 20-25 lb loss by then. Definitely do-able and I'm psyched to do it this time.

    I've got to get on the ball. I have been having such and issue with exercise and carbs. especially in the evening hours. Party of it is my home life, being winter and not feeling like exercising. Got to get in gear.

emoticon 158.4 Lowest in years. It's gonna be tough today at the steeler superbowl party but I am taking a shrimp ring, a fruit salad and roasted garlic cauliflower and carrots. And I'll try to stick to just those. gonna be awesome! Lots of dancing and jumping around cheering and high fiving.
It will be a great workout as well as a great game. I'll be dancing all day! kim

it definitely is a big motivator to continue to do better. I do alright during the week and even on most normal weekends. This being the Superbowl weekend will be a little harder to resist all the tempting foods but I will do my best. They usually have a veggie tray and I'll stick to that for snacking and only eat a small portion of the meal itself.
I weighed 159.4 this morning so down another .2 from yesterday. Slow and steady. I did really good on all of my key points:
water emoticon 12
cardio emoticon 75 mins airclimber;
weights emoticon : 45 mins;
sweat emoticon : yes
calorie range emoticon yes
and 5 fruits & veggies emoticon : I had 4 servings of veggies and one 8 oz glass of blueberry juice, no sugar added.
Yay me! I love it when I stay on program.

No more lazy

I weighed 159.6 this morning and I didn't even exercise yesterday. I had another lazy day but no more of that this weekend. I have no excuses.

Thursday starts the weekend!

worked 4 hours today and off until Tuesday. A nice long 5 day weekend rocks!

I have been lazy all week including last Saturday and Sunday which is no good.
At work I am getting some exercise because I have to lift and package heavy bundles of tubing. Between 20-30 lbs. each but that's all the exercise I did this week. I've been so tired this week too. more than usual. I had PMS and didn't even know it so I'm sure that is a factor. So this week and weekend should go better.
