My perfect nutrition days are few and far between. I get excited when I have a day where I eat within all my nutritional goals. Today, I had to watch my portion of marinara sauce because I was too high with my sodium intake. I tweaked my portion so that I could stay within goal. This prompted me to look for a SparkRecipe for low-sodium marinara sauce. I did find a few, but they used no sodium tomatoes and sauce and I can't get those here in the small town I live in. I'd like to make it from scratch using fresh tomatoes but I cook by recipe and couldn't find one. Maybe by the next time I make spaghetti, I'll find a good low-sodium, fresh tomato sauce. Any ideas?
