On Wednesday I had a swimming breakthrough, finally my technique seems to be clicking, I have only had 3 swimming sessions so perhaps I shouldn't make it sound like whew finally. I was just happy to finally figure out what I am doing and being able to feel myself gliding through the water and breathing much easier, made me feel a lot less stressed about my upcoming triathlon. Sunday I do my first real brick, I did some mini bricks on Tuesday which involved riding a mile or so and then getting off and running, and one that included swimming then getting on the bike to run. For those following this that are wondering about a brick, a brick is when you block together a couple of your events in order to practice transition from one to another. Those that have rode their bike for a long time and then get off to walk and find their legs seem caddywhumpous (not sure on the spelling of that) will understand. This will mentally and physically prepare me for that transition. On sunday I am doing 11 miles on the bike and then running 2 I have a feeling I will sleep quite well after work and my workout on sunday morning.
