Cardio Recovery yippee it is like sweet loving for the muscles! tonight I am wearing my work pants that are a size down I am ready to lose more weight I miss the baggy ones but I do have to say my butt looks good! I think the Brian Tracy books have been taking hold I have been reading one change your thinking change your life and I like me...lol. Seriously though I am trying to be a more positive person and learn to believe I deserve all things good I am taking steps in the right direction. Spark friends who have been reading my blogs for awhile totally understand

Insanity Days 16 and 17

Plyometric Cardio Circuit on day 16 and Pure Cardio/Cardio Abs on day 17. Can't wait to be over this cold. I will be backing off on the p90x since my marathon training is going to be picking up I will still be doing strength training but will not be following religiously like I have been I will also be continuting some yoga because I like the flexibility and benefits it has given my back. I realized if I tried to continue at the pace I was going it would be detrimental to my running so I am going to stick out Insanity plus I think it will make my cardio kick the pants off everyone else and I want to complete at least one full cycle!

Insanity Days 13,14,15 Fit test 2 results

Was a little slack in my blog been down with a cold Friday was a restday much needed, Thursday I hadn't gotten full on sick yet so I made it through pure cardio and cardio abs pretty decently, Saturday I had fit test I think if you take away the cold I would have improved even more I got that nice little iciness in my chest toward the end.
+20 on switch kicks
+23 power jacks
+18 power knees
+15 power jumps
+4 globe jumps
+2 suicide jumps (this is where I started to feel the iciness)
+11 push up jacks
+15 low plank oblique
one other thing to note my form was also better on all exercises.
I am really pleased with my improvements so I am going to keep on digging deep I am down 5 lbs since beginning insanity so that is a pretty decent result as well and I am seeing definition in areas like my stomach!

    Congrats on your fit test improvements - way to go! Seeing stomach definition is the holy grail of tangible fitness success, IMO! :D

    I would like a video blog showing me an example of all those exercises. I have no idea what most of them are! They all sound terriby difficult. Suicide definitely doesn't sound fun.

So I have started tracking as of yesterday this is not so much for me to keep track of calories but for me to keep track of fats, carbs, protein. The big reason I am wanting to do this is for my marathon training I need to keep tabs on my carbs mostly I naturally eat lower carb mostly because I am not a big bread or pasta eater so I am keep good track of all of this now in order to enhance my training and performance and yes I ate dark chocolate for breakfast it felt like it would be a nice light start before my workout that would provide me the energy for my workout think it worked although it will not be a constant occurence I know that it will do in a pinch lol!

    I just joined this group, but I've wanted to train for a half marathon for several months.

Don't know if can relate to your diet, tho. I could be the queen of carbs and I'd like nothing better than a handful of M&Ms to start my day!

Cardio Power and Resistance today it gets harder as it gets easier, my body is working harder so it really doesn't get easier but I am seeing some good physical changes.
Registration is completed for Chicago Marathon I am now doing it come hell or high water and since I have been through both a marathon will be a piece of cake right? lol Can't wait been sucking up every bit of knowledge i can get

  Well your marathon probably won't be a piece of cake... but you'll finish it for sure with that kind of determination :) Then you can eat a piece of cake (or two) guilt free!!!
