So I have recruited others into my insanity of doing a half marathon. I am excited plus I'll have some training partners. I really enjoy helping motivate others to get fit too, perhaps I should consider a side career? Jogged for 45 minutes yesterday, right now I am working on getting my body comfortable with the motion before I worry about distances and paces, but all of that stuff is in the back of my mind. Really wish some nicer weather would get here it would be nice not to have to worry about breaking my butt running on ice. Having a taco feed tonight at work. I brought a healthy option to share which I kept some in my lunch box, I got a couple things from the feed did have some chips with a really awesome homemade salsa. Mainly I put the things I was going to eat (stuff I brought) in my lunchbox and took the little bit of chips so I could avoid grazing and it has worked I haven't over eaten and I still have a way healthy salad for 2 am which is like 2pm for most of the world. Eating then holds me over so I don't eat when I get home right before bed. A little night shift schedule info if anyone who reads this is a night shifter I work 6p-6a I go to bed right when I get home which roughly puts me to sleep by 7a, I get up about 1 or 2 depending on the days agenda, workout, eat a little something, then off to work, once I'm here I may have a light snack early if I'm needing it, otherwise I wait until about 10 if I have had the snack usually 12. Then I eat at least one more time about 2 or 3 and I may have a snack somewher before them it depends on what the calories are that I've had for the day. This keeps the metabolism going and allows me to get to sleep! Enough rambling all the water has kicked in lol.
