P90X DAY 42 Enjoying the weather.

Started the day with another 3.5 mile walk with the dogs. Then spent all day outside working on the house. Finishing my day off with Yoga aka. my rest day before the start of week 7. Finally got some pics taken and then realized I'm not sure how I am going to get them transferred on to the computer my data cable for my camera was lost in the flood hope I can find a replacement otherwise I'm going to have to do some magic and get them on my thumb drive first so pics are still a ways off but they are coming.

    Woo hoo! Beautiful weather and progress pics all in the same day, awesome! :D

I did my day 45 resistance workout (back and biceps, and of course my [not] favorite, ab ripper x!) this morning. We're at the halfway point already - we can do it!

P90X DAy 41 Think my body is falling apart

My shoulder is still out of whack guess I'll try a couple more chiro trips, before I attempt to find out what else is going on with it. Started off the day great with a 3.5 mile walk with my real life spark buddy we decided since it was nice enough outside to avoid the mall walking. Plus my dogs were driving me crazy yesterday figured it would do them some good. It definetly did us all some good. Aired the stink off of us, you know the winter staleness from being cooped up. It seems way too early to be getting this. I then made my way through legs and back and did kenpo to make up for my day off yesterday. I decided to save yoga for Saturday so it would take any impact out of working out and serve as a recovery type day. I may have to limit myself in that to balance postures and mat work to give this shoulder a break. Working on the house tomorrow working on the front porch I wish I had some more money to finish it right now instead of going halfway on it but it will have to wait until spring. Loving my new heartrate monitor it helps me keep better track of my workouts and if I am keeping in the zone I need to be in.

P90X Day 40

I had to take an actual day off no workout of any type. Gonna double on legs back and kenpo in order to keep up. I just physical felt horrible today my shoulder was sore my legs felt weak, my arms felt weak There was nothing I could do to get myself to feel better. So I made the decision that maybe I had been pushing a bit too hard this week with all the extras. So I gave myself a little mini vacation from workouts today I hope it pays off in the form of energy.

P90X Day 39 Blogs keep me accountable

Back and biceps today and an hour on the bike. Finally bought a heart rate monitor last night so that I can truly maximize the effectiveness of the P90x workouts. Would still like to see the numbers getting lower on the scale although I know I am definetly getting in a lot better shape I can see it I just want that magic number of that annoying little thing called a scale to change. Diet that is the only thing I can think of I'm either eating too many calories or not enough I am struggling still to find the right balance. Making the turkey meatloaf again although this time I changed it up a little using the same principal as last time. At least the food on P90x is enjoyable. I guess for now I will keep pushing play.
One thing that is really helping me is keeping a blog. By keeping this I don't want to skip workouts and eat bad because I know that I have to put it down here. I promised to be honest about everything in this blog. Honesty is great in every aspect of life but especially for weight loss, it does me no good to say I didn't eat a piece of pizza when I did. Which I did last night but just 2 slices of the square cut stuff. A group of us go together and split a party pizza. I even had a couple beers but just 3 a couple months ago that would have been 3 times 4. I'm not where I want to be yet with fitness or nutrition but I am doing way better than a few months ago. I just have to keep getting better.

    the numbers on the scale will change in time... In the meantime look at all the positive stuff that's happening. You're getting in better shape with each passing day. Good things happen to those who push play :)

    I'm not losing either, on P90X. I think its because of all the muscle I am gaining. I wish there was a way to see how much muscle I ain and how much fat I'm losing. Don't be discouraged. You're doing great!

P90X Day 38 Plyometrics

Plyometrics makes a sore shoulder happy today I am thrilled to be jumping around instead of doing push ups. Hoping a trip to the Chiro will help me out and I am going to schedule a massage hopefully this week yet. My success with P90x has inspired some of my friends and family to look into doing it. A couple of them even started yesterday. I've been raving on facebook about it too. I've been kind of slack in my diet the last couple days but I have needed a little break from superstrict diet. I still haven't completely blown my diet, but have given myself a couple days of enjoyment while eating sensibly. I'm just hoping I can get past this shoulder problem with some chiro therapy.
