P90X Day 36 Start the week with a rest day

A little change up in the schedule this week due to the fact that I wasn't going to get much sleep today. I am starting the week as a rest day so I just did the bike for 30 minutes. The reason I did this was because I was really tired when I got off work this morning and we were going to be working on the house and then I had to come into work for another 12 I decided that with all of that I wouldn't be putting in a full concentrated workout on any of the p90 workouts but I will be getting better rest and have more time the rest of the week. Other than having to adjust my rest days to accomodate my schedule I am following the program and haven't missed a workout. I say this for people who are interested but feel they are a failure because they can't do the workouts as scheduled. As long as you are doing all the workouts and taking a rest day you can still be successful and you'll be more successful if you don't let the workouts control you. I've found adjusting my rest day can have a major impact on my energy for the week and I notice I have better workouts when I have a rest day when I need it not when the schedule says I should take it. Just be sure you plan it out.

November Goals

Keep up with P90x.
Continue to do other exercise as well: biking, jogging, walking etc.
Eat even healthier.
Get in some doubles for p90x
Melt some inches off (new jeans size).
See the scale move downward
Control emotional eating.
Continue to improve on Yoga.

    You are a workout machine girl! You are doing it! Rock on! If you are working that hard, be sure to make sure you get enough calories so you have energy and dont wear yourself out.

P90X Day 35

In the spark outage I realize I had forgotten to blog so I'm actually on day 35. Did Kenpo today my body is feeling a little bit beat up today could be all the extras give it a few days and just see if it is me gaining new strength my legs feel better stretched out more since doing Kenpo today but sore legs made it hard to get going this morning when I got home from work, but did it anyway, once I got warmed up I felt a lot better. Oh well keep pushing play right.

P90x Day 33 New found desire

I am working my butt off on this whole p90x thing and it is carrying over into all aspects of my life. With my recent break up instead of diving into ben and jerry's I have been doing my p90x workouts, using my stationary bike, walking, and doing some jogging. I have also noticed that I have more energy at the end of the day to get other stuff done too: laundry, errands, projects around the house, and I have energy to workout afterwork instead of coming home and diving straight into bed. I am heading into week 6 at day one I didn't think that I would be here I didn't think I would stick with it, but here I am pushing play each day and doing additional workouts, cooking healthy meals, and preaching health. I may annoy people with the last one a bit but I want them to know I am serious and I am learning more each day.

P90x Day 32 Blah stress

So I originally woke up at 3 in the morning after having a dream about my ex which got me in a mood that has carried through the whole day. Just when I thought I might be feeling better about the whole break up he creeps in. I did good as far as I didn't fly off the handle eating everything in sight but I didn't do great today because I felt like being a slug. When I woke up early I started with yoga and could not get into because I was still upset. So I went back to bed and was out all day woke up at 3pm and could not get motivated until after Grey's anatomy today. Did decent at legs and back although it took me half the disc to get really into it. Currently fighting the urge to go to Perkins for peanut butter brownie pie. Grr. I hate emotions. I think after I get done here I am going to ride my stationary bike for awhile. The rain all day hasn't helped my mood any. I'm getting stronger everyday I just need to keep my emotions out of it or use them for good (exercise) instead of evil (bad food).

    When you're grumpy and exercising just be sure to focus on your task at hand... you don't want to injure yourself. I did my legs and back this morning... I'm really beginning to notice my strength.

Any plans on what you're going to do after the 90 days?
