I have been trying anything to solve the issue of my thyroid. A source of much frustration. About 4 years ago I began to feel tired all the time and seemed to gain weight no matter what I did. Jump forward to April 2007 I have at this point gained 120-130lbs when a work physical revealed my thyroid was wack. I have been frustrated and down in the dumps as they work with my meds. Choking on a huge lump in my throat that won't go away is pi55ing me off. Then I discovered The Thyroid Diet well with a lot of reading studying and failed attempts I am finding my way to the end of the tunnel and walking into the light. It is not fool proof but I am learning about it and finding what I can do to make myself better. The weight is coming off slowly which is frustrating but I am also finding that my focus on treating my thyroid right is improving my overall eating habits the amount of sodium I am taking in is finally in control. I have been using b vitamins for only a couple days but they are helping my energy level and on suggestion of the book I have added CLA so we'll see if that helps any. For now I am trying to get this thing whipped well at least coexist with it.
