P90X Day 17 Best day of ABRipperX so far

Wow can't believe I'm only 17 days in I feel like I am seeing so many increases in fitness already. Today was by far my best day with the ab ripper x part. I did all the exercises and 90% of the reps. I can tell my mid section seems to be shrinking. I'm definetly for sticking with this program it is working. One other thing that seems to be helping me keep at it is keeping this blog. I saw that a fellow P90Xer was keeping one (JonDecker76) when I started he was on day 84 or something like that. That inspired me because then it was real to me that people did the program, I'm always skeptical of infomercials. I hope that by keeping this blog I can inspire people to use the program as well. For those that are interested in P90X know this I am a real person who wants to get back into shape I am using P90X and I am having success. Worth a try. Success breeds success. Congrats to Jon who graduated the program, in about 72 days I plan to give myself my own congratulations.

You're right, keeping a blog really helps a lot. I'm on P90X Day 66, and I'm not a big blogger. In fact before I started the program, I never blogged before. But I've found that it really helps keep me accountable. People like Jon and Eric have helped so many people with their journey. It's really nice to read about the ups and downs that everyone else faces. It's lets me know that I'm not alone.

You're doing great... just keep pushing play! emoticon

P90X Day 16

Plyometrics. I've noticed the last 2 days on both workouts that they are harder, not because I can't do them but because I am working harder as I get in better shape. I hope this trend continues because yesterdays workout and todays felt really good. I feel like I really gained something from them because I was working a lot harder.

    Exactly! That's why I think I'll be using the P90X dvd's individually long after completing the program (if I don't repeat the whole thing again!); there's tons of ways to adjust the intensity. Adding/scaling back on weights/bands, depth of push-ups, height of jumps, etc., etc.

P90X Day 14 and 15

I decided to take my rest day and just stretch since I am still battling this cold. I can tell it is what I needed. I don't feel fatigued out today and am looking forward to chest and back today. Worked on my house for most of the day other than the cold have been feeling a lot more energetic. Can't wait to tackle yoga this week. I'm also looking forward to doing my measurements tonight. My jeans are feeling pretty good. Think that I may do the doubles program when I hit phase 2 would like to do the cardioX dvd. I am really happy with the program because I feel that it is easy to stick to. One of my Sparkfriends is coming over later and we are going to cook up some healthy recipies for the next couple days worth of meals. Really looking forward to that we are going to experiment with some different ideas, who knows maybe we'll stumble upon something to put on spark recipies.

    this P90X seems to be a very popular program. i went to their website & it looked like it might be too tough for a beginner. i'm glad you're enjoying it. i'm trying to get up the nerve to do the same!

P90X Day 13

Did the Kenpo Dvd still feeling under the weather but it seems like this illness is finally fading. Because I felt like that I feel like i was mindlessly doing the video. Depending on how week three goes I may do at least one more week of phase 1 because even though I have done the workouts everyday this week my effort and energy for them has been low. If I see some decent gains in week 3 I won't do a repeat. I did get some yoga blocks today So I am going to see if I can give a better effort to yoga. It is supposed to be my rest day but since Weds. turned into a rest day more than anything (20 mins. of the yoga) I think it would be good to try to work through that one.

    I'm glad to hear that you're feeling a bit better, and I hope your yoga blocks improve your experience using Yoga X.

I rely on my yoga block pretty heavily, especially since my hamstrings have always been tight. People that can put their legs in the air and completely straighten them baffle & astound me!! :D

I have a feeling you'll be pleasantly suprised in the results you get from week 3 and won't feel like you need to repeat it. You are super serious about following the program to the letter, which is awesome. You inspire me!

P90X Day 12

Did the Legs and Back routine. Wish I would get over this cold/flu. I plan to finish yoga on my rest day if I am feeling up to it. I keep doing the workouts but feel like my effort would be a lot better if I was feeling like crud. Keeping at it tho. Kenpo tomorrow.
