P90X Day 9 Plyometrics

There were points today where I had to take it easy plyometrics is not one that you can fake it during. The jumping had me feeling my illness so I had to take more breaks than I would have if I weren't sick. I still made it through and I managed to do the AB ripper, that I missed yesterday. Can't wait for this cold/flu to get packing and get out of town

    I'm sorry you're fighting off an illness! Plyo is HARD ENOUGH w/out being sick - KUDOS for stepping up and doing it anyway. I had a stomach bug a few weeks back and I had to FORCE myself to workout, but I swear I got over it quicker for working out, instead of laying off. Listen to your body - it will tell you when to rest.

P90x Day 8

So for rest day I had to take my army physical fitness test. I also have a nice little cold or flu not sure which need to buy a thermometer. I saw improvements on my pt test from doing P90x. I also have lost 2 inches off my hips and 3 off my waist. That is the result of week one. Maybe that is why with all my aches and sickness I got up off the couch and pushed play to get through chest and back. There were points I could tell I was sick so I took it easy but there were moments even during round 2 that I pushed through and did more reps than in round 1 even.

    I'm sorry to hear you're feeling ill. Get well soon! I hope you're able to get as much rest as possible on your "rest day" during which you're not resting! I should talk, I completely didn't rest on my "rest day", either :D

Congrats on all your progress - how great that you felt stronger on the second round. That's really a testimony to how much hard work you're putting into it!

    Just missed the sit ups think I would have passed them if I was feeling better my hip flexors were on fire from running a fever. I was surprised I did as well as I did because everything was aching.

    How did you do on your physical test. If you didn't take it yet, rest up a little so your body will in shape.

P90X Day 6

83 more days to go. Kenpo X today it was a lot of fun and a lot of work but I was having so much fun flailing around I didn't notice how high the heart rate was and how hard I was breathing. Tomorrow is rest stretch day. Whoo. Hope my copy comes soon.

P90X Day 5

Legs, Back, and the AB ripper. The leg and back dvd wasn't as brutal as I anticipated an incredible challenge but not impossible, it was a leg workout I actually enjoyed. Have found I need to focus on the calorie requirements. My body is hungry after these workouts so I am definetly going to have to add in protein drinks and bars. Been eating egg whites and chicken breast a lot they are foods that I enjoy.This is my third day on the ab ripper dvd I find that I am starting to master the moves and am needing less break on the exercises even did most of the V-ups today. I love this program it is actually easy for me to want to push play

    You are an inspiration! Those V-ups are brutal - awesome job on needing to take less breaks :D I have to give myself pep talks about how short ab ripper x is by saying things like, "you can do anything for just 15 minutes!!"

P90X going into Day 5

I know that I am going to stick with this program because already I am seeing results. It may sound a bit odd but my body responds quickly to weight training especially for a girl. Already I have less skin sagging, my butt seems to have lifted several inches my legs already look stronger and my arms chest and shoulders are already showing definition. That is the kind of motivation I need. Today I have Legs Back and the Ab ripper. I know that I will be singing a tune of soreness later tonight but it will be worth it keep that tape measure handy think that I will be showing the benefits in no time.

    That's good you're doing P90X!! You have more willpower than me! I couldn't even stick to P90, granted I found Tony annoying and don't know why!! LOL. It sounds like you're keeping on track which is great!! Definitely keep up the good work and tell us the ending results! Did you take before pictures?
