    I agree I'm not worried about getting bored Tony cracks me up and the routines do fly by. I also just need to make sure I schedule the time for it. It helps to have Spark pals right there with me. I think blogging it will also keep me honest and help motivate me to push the play button.

    I'm glad to hear you're doing well. I am really, really liking the routines so far. I already feel stronger, and the time seems to go by quickly as I go through each day's exercises. As long as I can continue to schedule in the time needed, I'm not worried about getting bored or losing interest in the program.

Day 2 P90x

Plyometrics kept up pretty well had to make some modifications due to a weak achilles tendon, still able to do basically everything except hot foot I had to do the jump rope. Some of the 180 stuff had to modify after a few reps but was able to do the normal way once I get used the training I should be able to do them without modification

    Great job! How were your calves the next day? Mine were super sore. I'm looking forward to shorter recovery times and better range of motion as I repeat plyo each week. :D

Done we'll see how sore I am I did discover I need a set of heavier weights for back. think that I am going to get either a dumbell set or blocks. Can't wait until I can do pull ups did the band modifications for now.

countdown to P90X

In less than 8 hours I will be popping in that first disc. Bring on the soreness Lol! I've put all the workouts on my calendar, I'm making meal plans its now just me and 90 days of Just Push Play.

    I'm just starting too! I'm SO excited - come on UPS man!!! Get here already!! So, you realize your approximately 90 days until Christmas - so every time you here a Christmas song, see a display, whatever - think about how buff and healthy your gonna be! Starting 2010 right!

P90X

Starting Sunday I am going to be doing p90x. I am borrowing the DVD's from a guy I work with to test it out before I invest in it. I just want to make sure the program is a good fit for me before I invest in anything. Also I will be doing measurments and before photos a big step for me. Honesty is sometimes the biggest challenge to my weight loss. The good news is I took the fit test and except for the fact that I cannot do pullups (couldn't do them when I was in great shape) I can do everything else that the test says I should be able to. While I know it will be a very difficult challenge, I am prepared to do it with the hope of getting the spark back and finding my mental toughness that I used to have. I know I will have to make modifications and while I will try to follow the program to the letter I know that it won't help if I injure myself so I will know when to take it easy too.

    Good luck. I am glad you already did the Fit Test, this is the very important first step that a lot of people skip (myself included). I learned the hard way how important it was.

During the work outs you can use a chair to assist with the pull-ups until you are strong enough to do one with out the chair. That should be one of your goals, do 1 pull-up with out the chair. Then when you hit that you know you are making progress.

    I have done a couple of the videos. Ab ripper x is killer! i immediately followed it with cardio x and whoooeeee was I feelin it the next day...actually 48 hours later i had more soreness.

My advice, adapt the moves to you. Don't try to do more than you are capable of doing, or you'll wind up hurt.
