I have been noticing since I buckled down and made the changes that my success increases with my activity on these sites and the use of these tools. During the summer while I stay active and usually lose some weight I'm not active on these things mostly because I would rather be outside than inside logging stuff. My success is good but moderate during the summer. I probably eat more but I burn off everything and then some. In the Fall there is the lag I haven't gotten back to tracking, my activity stays elevated but as the days get shorter I'm not outside as much and my weight will begin to creep up. It is then that I take notice get back to tracking and being active on the websites and this saves me through the winter months. Spring is probably a bit like Fall I will keep an eye on that, but I know next year to stave off any gain at all I will have to get right back to logging after the last triathlon of the season.

This week's weigh in

This week I will be posting my numbers on Wednesday, I find it important to weigh at the same time daily and since I work during those hours this week it will have to wait. I did get a new scale. My challenge is going well I am keeping myself much more accountable and I am back on my eating less moving more. I have been doing a lot of walking, running, doing my challenge exercises, and playing raquetball. It seems to be paying off, no matter what the scale says I feel much better than when I was down a couple weeks ago. Nutrition has been a bit of a struggle still but I am doing so much better than I was a couple weeks ago. Changing even if it is not much different than what I was doing before has really been wonderful!

Remember to have to have time for you as that help keeping on track

Just one point, weighing every day you will see your weight go up one day and down the next and so on.

I had this problem last weekend when I weighed Saturday and then again on Sunday, I normally only weight once a week, just a thought

Broken scale

Weigh in day was Monday the only problem apparently my scale decided to die, I have tried changing the battery. I looked up a couple other things to try so hopefully I don't have to buy a new one. Measurements stayed the same so that is a good sign, but I do like to have the more immediate gratification that comes from that number on the scale. While measurements are great sometimes the time it takes to see results either direction can be too long.

    i am changing my tacktics and planning to weigh myself only 1 a month as i was letting it get to me.hope you have your scale fixed now.sorry i am only getting round to this now still playing catch up since coming out of hospital.take care and keep smiling.you are doing great . emoticon

    It won't hurt to go without weighing for a week in fact it will level out over two weeks or so.

The tape may tell that you have lost but not always. My tape has not moved since July but I have lost 30lbs.

The trouble with scales are that they are a mind game that always puts you on on the defensive.

  Same thing happened to me yesterday - though I haven't tried changing the batteries yet. It wasn't weigh-in day for me (Friday), so I guess that's what I get for trying to get a sneak peek. Don't let the scale get you down though! Keep working towards your goal.

I haven't been great haven't been bad in my first week of change.Monday my fitbride challenge starts on Facebook, I got together some people that want accountability like I do, I put together some mini challenges for the team. If you are on Facebook and want to join send me a private message the more spark positivity on there the better. I have been eating a lot of soup the past couple days so I am not sure what the scale will show, trying to counteract sodium with water right now. ( I make my soups lower sodium but today I had some pre made stuff). Either way tomorrow I will post my weigh in check in. Overall a decent week, I think I can do better but this was a good start.

Calf 17.5- yeah they are kind of huge lol!
I am going to be tracking this progress, I am not entirely sure what my goals are at this point for these measurements but I know I want all of them to go down, sadly even the monster calves.
