I was so tired last night that I never made it back on to the computer after supper. Needless to say my blogging never got done.
Today is a new day, and I'm raring to go...start those engines and let's be off!
It's Fabulous Friday once again, so will be looking for all the fabulousness in my day, not that I don't anyway, but today I'm always more aware.
My day has already started off Fabulous...I woke up on this side of the grass! I have great health, I had breakfast to eat, I have a job to go to - which I love, a warm vehicle to drive to work in, warm clothes. I guess what I'm saying is, we often overlook the small things and write them off as being of no significance. Today, I challenge everyone to really examine their day as all those things that you would normally overlook, take a second look at them and then give thanks for the blessing that they are.
Have a wonderful day, be grateful for all that you have....there is always someone else who doesn't have the blessings that you do...take time to Thank God and to ask God's blessings to be upon those in need.

I've been having a few minors issues with my computer. It's been running very slow and just generally not working correctly. If I click to a new screen before everything has loaded completely, I get booted out. Decided to do a defrag, virus scan, spyware scan and a registry mechanic on my computer. Fixed what ever they told me to fix...voila...assumed my computer would now work correctly.....nope! Now my computer will not save my login's, even when I click on the "remember me" button, and today...getting on to the internet was none existant until this evening...I'm Here Now!, but it's slow going.
Such is the life of a person who uses the computer for everything! Think I need to take some computer repair classes! lol
I've had a very busy day, work was very busy, trying to get all those last minute budget orders in and praying that they all arrive before year end. After work, I had to drive into the city to the Shaw Cable company to get some answers to many questions we had. I came away with lots of food for thought as to what we really need in the way of internet, phone and cable tv. Everyone's deal is the best! lol. Headed back home and on the way stopped at the insurance office. We got the bill for adding Shyra to Kaeli's car insurance and it was more than we were lead to believe it would be. They were so nice at the office. The agent looked at the bill and even she said it didn't look right. Turns out that the head office or who ever sends the bills, had not taken into account Shyra's driver's training. That reduced the bill by $100.00. YAY! I was very impressed with the service...something that often times seems to be missing in the service industry now adays. Just might have to get them to give Garry and I a quote for car and house insurance in the new year!
Poor Shyra has a bad cold...she's all stuffed up and achy. Off to bed she's gone after a nice bowl of soup.
A busy day at work, lots accomplished.
Still no snow, so driving into the city after work was a breeze.
Lots of questions anwered with Shaw.
Insurance office was great, Shyra's bill was reduced by $100.00. YAY!
A great evening to relax. My jammies are on and soon my feet will be up and I have a great book to read! My favorite pass time.
All of you, you keep me focused and enthused about my lifestyle journey.

It was nice to get back into a regular routine again as I headed back to work. I like having a schedule, not that I'm not flexible within that schedule, I just like the organization of a routine.
Snow has still held off, but we did have some freezing rain today. Snow is predicated now for the next 3 days, but the temperatures are still above zero, so not sure if we will actually get snow or if we will get rain. I'd rather the snow that the rain. When the temperatures drop then there is always the risk of black ice forming on the roads. Oh well, I'm not in control of the weather, so we'll take what we get and use common sense!
I won a ticket in a draw today at work. It gives me a free pass to go to the Festival of trees this weekend being held here in town. I'm excited about going, it will help get me into the Christmas spirit. Organizations decorate trees, wreaths, gingerbread houses etc and they are in turn put up for auction to help raise money for charity. I'm looking forward to seeing all the delights that are being offered. Maybe I'll even have the opportunity to bid on something! Woo Hoo!
19 more days until our Kaeli comes home from Greece. Just in time for her brother and her sisters birthdays, both of which are just before Christmas. Hard to believe that our baby will be 21 this year! Where has the time gone.
Life is back into a routine again, always much easier to stay on track.
Winning a free pass to the Festival of Trees event.
Opportunity to chat with people today that I don't normally get a chance to chat with.
No snow as yet! Although that means I'm not burning calories with shoveling.
Friends and family.
God who gives me eternaly love.
Have a wonderful evening, keep on smiling and brightening the world around you.

I'm enjoying my last day off before heading back to work tomorrow. I even got myself together and tackled one closet in the hallway that needed to be primed yet before the new paint could go on. Boy, talk about being glad to get out of that closet....small space, paint fumes....hack, hack, hack, sniffle ,sniffle. Does look much better though. Feels like more progress is being made!
Decided to stay home today rather than heading into the city to do some Christmas looking. The roads were very icy today...freezing rain. Not my kind of comfortable driving weather, especially as it wasn't necessary driving that I would be doing. In stead...I'm sitting at the computer, catching up on emails, creating emails and playing a card game....oh so ambitious! lol.
Garry and Q wanted pork ribs for supper, so started those early this morning in the oven on very low, lots of BBQ sauce on them, and I've just put in some lovely big baking potatoes. Will make a salad and throw some veggies on to cook in awhile. A lazy day, but still managed to do all the things on my to do list. Mauri...I'm a list maker at heart...so love making those lists. Glad you got me started again!
I've decided to make some homemade bath products for the girls for Christmas. Going to the dollar store to see if they have any cannister type clear jars with tight fitting lids. Picking up some powder milk, epson salts and going to the aromatherapy store to get some nice smellies to add and voila! I will make some gifts! I'm thinking of some theme baskets to give to Garry's family. We usually just exchange "from our house to yours" type gifts...so made a movie night one, or for his one sister, perhaps a spa type one. More thought is needed.
A great day off work.
My To Do list is done.
Primed the broom closet, still living to tell about it! lol
Finally decided on some Christmas presents....more decisions yet to come.
Supper in the oven and smelling good.
God, who despite me dragging my feet and occasionally questioning His judgement, still continues to surround me and encourage me.
Family and friends who bless my day in so many ways.
Have a wonderful evening,

I had such a wonderful and delightful day yesterday. Yep, my birthday and I woke up in the morning excited to meet a new day and already feeling blessed because I woke up!
I had some quiet time first thing in the morning, then headed for the computer to touch base with everyone, then off to Yoga class. I'm really enjoying the yoga, despite the fact that the next day ...I'm very sore! At least I know that my body is gettin a good stretch and it will become much more strengthened. Not so sure about the possibility of accomplishing a head stand in week six! That should be fun, definitely worth a great laugh anyway.
After Yoga came home to phone calls from Kaeli(in Greece), our granddaughter and then my brother and SIL. Garry and I then headed out the door to do some reno shopping and getting more ideas...a pass time that we both enjoy. Later Shy and I headed out to Greenland Nursery to see all the Christams decorations and enjoy some time wandering their big nursery. Love this time of year when people get the decorations out and all looks bright and happy.
My family took me out for supper to EastSide Marios where I enjoyed the Chicken Caesar salad with light dressing and piece of the nice hot bread they bring to the table. After supper we headed off to the grocery store to buy a Mousee cake for dessert. I had a small piece of that when we got home. Stayed within my calorie range nicely and with all the walking that I did during the day, got my exercise in too. Spent the rest of the evening just visiting with each other and enjoying our time together.
Although my body is sore this morning, it's a good sore from stretching muscles and working them.
Quiet time this morning to meditate.
A whole new day to look forward to, being opening to what ever blessings God has in store for me today.
My spark family who blesses me so incredibly.
My health and the spiritual lessons I've learned and still learning.
It's Serenity Sunday today and my wish for you is that you find that serenity within yourself and open yourself up to the wonderfully blessings that God brings into your life.
