Five days off work to look forward too. YAY! Today will be spent getting all the last minute things for Christmas and getting all the laundry complete etc. A day of working all out today, means relaxation time coming up!
Garry and I met up with some friends last evening and had dinner out, then home to have an early night of sleeping. It was great to sleep in until 7 this morning.
My Blessings:
1. I had a very good last day at work, I have the new ordering tool all worked out for our selectors and it should be ready to go in early January. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
2. A lovely evening out with friends, thank you, thank you, thank you.
3. 5 days of holiday time to enjoy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
4. I got a letter from the specialist office yesterday saying that I have an appointment on the January 16th. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
5. All three of our children and their friends will be celebrating Christmas with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
6. Although we are supposed to get snow later today, it's not snowing right now. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
7. I had a great opportunity to sleep in this morning, that felt really good. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
8. The world did not end yesterday! (not that I believed it would, so this is said tongue in cheek), Thank you, thank you, thank you.
9. I do however see many incidences of younger children embracing a more caring and mindful attitude to helping and caring for others. There is a shift from the "all about me" to "all about others". Thank you, thank you, thank you.
10. I am very grateful for the gift of a new day of life. So blessed and will do all I can to pay that forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Today is the last work day for the week and then I have 5 days off! I need to finish off my last two stocking stuffers this weekend and get the preparations all made for Christmas Eve supper and then it's smooth sailing for some relaxation.
I woke up a bit later than usual this morning. Usually I wake up before the alarm rings, but not this morning. Now I'm feeling a bit rushed.
My Positives:
1. I'm grateful for alarm clocks, even though I don't like the sound mine makes. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
2. It's Friday! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
3. I have 5 days off work to look forward to. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
4. We got the budgets spent at work...only $8.21 left over. Woo Hoo. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
5. The Kidney Foundation is coming to pick up Kaeli's old car. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
6. Garry has been a huge help on his days off, all my bathrooms are cleaned, floors vacuumed and washed. Bless his heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
7. A lovely long chat with my SIL last evening, catching up on all the family news. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
8. No snow to shovel this morning, just very cold temperatures to brave. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
9. I'm blessed with having all my children around me at Christmas time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
10. Blessed with a new day of life....so grateful for all the wonders in my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm so disappointed with my efforts at video taping a moment in time last evening. I even practiced video taping earlier in the day so that I knew what I had to do. Unfortunately all I caught was the garage door opening. I think that when I reached up to turn the overhead light on, I must have stopped the recording somehow and did not realize it until we went to review it all. Oh well, it's done and although we don't have a recording, the blessing is still in place.
The blessing:
Kaeli's car has been on it's last legs, barely even producing any heat, which is vital in the winter time here. Garry and I have been saving up a bit at a time to hopefully be able to help her out in the spring with a cheap used car. Kaeli just isn't able to afford a car herself as she now has a mortgage as well as she is still paying off student loans. I have been praying about her need and thanking God for providing a vehicle for her.
Last Friday, her bosses came to Garry and told him that they have had a fantastic year and wanted to purchase Kaeli a new car as her Christmas bonus! They gave Garry a price range and said they wanted something for her that has lots of warranty on it. After the shock wore off and the tears were wiped, Garry, Shyra and I got to go and hunt for a new vehicle for Kaeli. We found a couple of them that we thought would be great cars for her and then left the choice up to Shane and Gayle.
Last night we gathered at our place and then called Kaeli and asked her to come over as her Dad needed some help with something. When she opened the garage door, she was pretty shocked as you can imagine to see us all standing there and a lovely red car with green bow on it. Shane and Gayle made the presentation of the keys which shocked her even more.
All I can say is that we were blessed to witness such a wonderful Christmas blessing and are incredibly grateful for how the Universe provides in such unexpected ways.
I will take a picture of Kaeli and her new car and post it later, in the meantime....sorry that the promised video is not available.
Gratitude:
1. We are so blessed and grateful that our children have all got incredible work ethic and that they employers are so appreciative. Thank you, thank you. thank you.
2. Thank you Universe for providing beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
3. I am so grateful how learning about the Law of Attraction and living in gratitude on a daily basis has so changed our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
4. I am grateful to learn that my cousin is going to be in the area during the Christmas holidays and that we will be able to get together. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
5. I am grateful that I only have 2 work days left and then 5 days of holidays. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
6. It's pretty hard to top last nights beautiful moment, but I'm even more excited to see what is in store for us next! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
7. I am grateful that all of my children will be with us for Christmas and that their friends are joining us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
8. Thank you for the gift of healing that is mending and repairing my body, I look forward to a completely healed knee. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
9. Thank you for the blessing of a new day of life that allows me to grow and learn and be a part of so many opportunities. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
10. Thank you that despite always hearing about the "bad" things in the news, that there are still "good" things that happen. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

PS...we are paying it forward with the Kaeli's old clunker and donating it to the Kidney Foundation. What a blessing that there are places that we can offer it to that will benefit from it.

Each day is a blessing and filled with wonderful things, today will be doubly so as the blessing that will occur this evening is one I hope to catch on video and share. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the people involved in making this happen.
Hump Day and Payday today. Finally payday of 2012. Wow! How quickly this year has gone by.
My Gratitudes:
1. I am grateful for all the experiences this past year has brought to me, allowing me to learn and grow as a person, to better understand myself and develop my spiritual side. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
2. I am grateful for my hubby, who on his day off yesterday, tackled cleaning all the bathrooms, vacuumed and washed the entryway floor. Bless his day in a special way today Lord. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
3. I am grateful to have a cell phone that will allow me to video tape a moment in time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
4. I am grateful to hear that a cousin will be in town during the holidays and I will get to see her. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
5. I am grateful for my children and the blessing that each one of them is in our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
6. I am grateful to have a job that I enjoy doing and that I work in a place that values it's employees. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
7. I am grateful for my BIL who celebrates his birthday today. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
8. I am grateful to be a part of our granddaughters life and to share in her joys. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
9. I am grateful that I have been blessed with a new day of life and all that the day entails. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
10. I am grateful to be learning to live a more simplified life and by doing so, find that my life is more fulfilling. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Happy Birthday to a wonderful young lady that shares her life with us...our youngest daughter turns 25 today. I can still clearly remember all the details of her entry into our lives. What an incredible blessing she was, is and will always be. A beautiful child has grown into a beautiful young lady. Not only is the package on the outside beautiful, her spirit is beautiful also.
Today she also shares her birthday with two other co-workers. What are the odds of three people in the same place of work, staff of 100, having the same birth date!
My Positives:
1. Having the gift of Shyra in our lives and the opportunity to learn and grow with and from her. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
2. I had a lovely long conversation with our Granddaughter's daddy last evening. It was great to catch up on all the news. Thank you for the wonderful father that he is. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
3. We get to be a part of the surprise blessing that will take place tomorrow evening. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
4. A great day at work yesterday, Gail and I got to go out and purchase books at our local Chapters store. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the fun we had.
5. It's snowing, but Garry is off work today and will do the shoveling. Yay. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
6. Garry's youngest brother will be in town tomorrow, so we will get to see him before Christmas. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
7. Shyra found out yesterday that her position at work is being bumped up a level, which translates into a sizable pay raise for her. What a blessing! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
8. The amazing ways that the Universe and all that entails is providing in our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
9. I am so grateful for the books that I am lead to read and all the information they impart to help me to grow and learn. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
10. Thank you for the new day of life to enjoy, share and be creative in. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
