Yuck....minus 9 this morning!

Thursday, October 11, 2012

It's time to start using my remote start on my vehicle once again....minus 9 this morning and apparently not moving much on the temp scale today. On the plus side the weather forecast is calling for plus 13 this weekend, so that will be nice.

I discovered an error on my pay stub yesterday. Actually I discovered it last pay stub and thought I would give it another one to see if it corrected itself. I don't think it's my error, but will go in this morning and see all my time sheets and then call payroll to see if I can meet with someone if I can't figure it out.

My blessings:
1. So blessed to have a roof over my head that is warm and comfortable, thank you.
2. So blessed to have cold and hot running water, indoor plumbing and a stove to cook on, thank you.
3. So blessed to have warm and reliable transportation that gets me back and forth to work, thank you,
4. So blessed to have a job and a pay cheque that allow me to earn good money and pay my bills, thank you.
5. So blessed to be surrounded by angels and guides that when I listen with my heart, they help me through each day, thank you.
6. So blessed to food to eat and warm clothes to wear, especially in this cold weather, thank you.
7. So blessed to have my brothers in my life, even though we don't see each often. Happy Birthday Layne and thank you for being my brother.
8. So blessed to be granted another day of life that I might continue to work on my spiritual self, thank you.
9. So blessed to be given the opportunity to make my own choices, to learn and grow from them, thank you.
10. So blessed to have such great and caring friends, their support and love is so valuable, thank you.

Have a wonderful day, keep on moving forward in your journey to health.

Hugs,
Wanda

You can keep the cold temps there... I don't need them quite yet here.

We are at 35 this a.m. but will be heading towards 60, so not a bad day at all. I am thankful for you and others who write such positive blogs. I am and have been struggling for a while and these blogs do help lift me up and give me the desire not to throw in the towel. I hope you have a nice weather weekend ahead of you. Hope you get the pay check thing straightened out.

Hugs,
Shirl

What a blessing to wake up this morning and see that the predicted snow did NOT make an appearance overnight. The temperature is even warmer than expected...it's plus 6...YAY, winter has not yet arrived. The longer that the snow holds off, the happier I am.

My Gratitudes:

1. Thank you, thank you, thank you that I awoke to no snow this morning, driving on icy and snowy roads are not my favorite thing to do.
2. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the work that awaits me at work, I love being busy.
3. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a new day of life that I might become the creation that God intended me to be.
4. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the angels and guides that watch over my family.
5. Thank you, thank you, thank you for teaching me to be mindful and aware of all that is happening in my life.
6. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the opportunities that arise each day to think about my choices and give thanks.
7. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all those who serve our community, our province and our country in the best way that they can.
8. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the gifts of health, life, and love.
9. Thank you, thank you, thank you for my quiet time first thing in the morning, that allows me to spend time in meditation and communication with God.
10. Thank you, thank you, thank you for my relationships with friends and family and all that they teach me.

Have a blessed and wonderful day, it's your gift.

Hugs,

Blessed by no snow :) I don't want to see snow yet either, but I have a feeling we are not going to have a long fall this time, we are just about at peak fall color all ready. Enjoy your snowless day.

Shirl

This should be an interesting day...

Tuesday, October 09, 2012

How can a person both love and hate long weekends? I love them as they mean an extra day off work, but at the same time I hate them because they pull my sleep routine all out of wack! As usual the night before heading back to work, my sleep is borderline non-existent. I really need to find a good solution. Waking up at my usual 4:30 am time might be what's necessary if only to get my body back in sync. Sigggghhh.
I was up at 7:30 am yesterday morning and in bed again by 9pm as I was tired, but then I tossed and turned until just after midnight and was awake again at 3:55 am. I'm not sure if it's just because I hate waking up to an alarm clock or what that I always wake up before it rings and then doze until it's time to get up or what. On the plus side....I should be able to sleep tonight!

My blessings:
1. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a day spent with my hubby yesterday.
2. Thank you, thank you, thank you for Kaeli and Quin coming over to help their dad move some heavy things.
3. Thank you, thank you, thank you the furnace that is working well and keeping us warm during the night.
4. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the gift of healing that is mending and restoring my body.
5. Thank you, thank you, thank you that I have a great job to go to and work to keep me busy today.
6. Thank you, thank you, thank you that we live in a neighborhood that cares about each other.
7. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the blessing of a new day of life to learn and grow in.
8. Thank you, thank you, thank you each organ in my body that works to keep me alive and healthy without direction from me.
9. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the blessings that come my way each and every day and the awareness to recognize them.
10. Thank you, thank you, thank you for my crock pot that enables me to have lovely meals prepared when I get home from work.

Have a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Wanda

Turkey Dinner Day for our family

Sunday, October 07, 2012

We are celebrating Thanksgiving with our big dinner today. This gives us the opportunity to relax and enjoy the last day in the long weekend tomorrow.

The kids are coming over to enjoy the day with us. I'll be putting the turkey on before long and getting the potatoes all peeled and the salad made. The girls are bringing the dessert and some buns. Quin is bringing himself...he gets let off the hook this year.

We had an absolutely gorgeous sunny day yesterday. Spent most of the day outdoors taking advantage of the nice weather. We are supposed to get the same today, except with some wind added into the mix.

My blessings:

1. Thank you, thank you, thank you that we live close to our children and are able to see each other often.
2. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the food upon our table and being able to share.
3. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the blessing of health that enables us to go about our lives with ease.
4. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for telephones that keep us in touch with family and friends.
5. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the internet connections that allow us to be in communication with those friends and family that are even further away from us.
6. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the beautiful sunny and warm days so that we can enjoy being outdoors.
7. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the money that has come our way through out our lives and continues to flow in.
8. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the reliable transportation that You are working on providing Kaeli with so that she can get back and forth to work safely.
9. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the gift of healing that is taking place not only in myself but in Sage.
10. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the blessing of a new day of life and all the blessings that come our way each and every day.

With a grateful heart,
Hugs,
Wanda
