America's Thanksgiving is over, Macy's parade is over, Black Friday advertising is over, Christmas decorations are up everywhere and yesterday driving home from work...the radio was playing Christmas music! *grin* Yep, it's officially the "Season of spend".
Today the girls and I are heading out on the Heartland Christmas tour. In other words we drive around the county to 8 different sites that are promoting Christmas activities and Christmas crafts/shopping items. Should be fun. I'm just waiting now for the girls to phone to let me know that they are up and ready to go. Garry was going to come, but he has a client appointment at 11am.
Went for my dental cleaning yesterday and my dentist has informed me that it is time to do some restoration work. A couple of fillings that I have had for far too many years (you know the orginally filling material from the dinosaur age) are in dire need of being replaced. So back I will go on Dec 13 to have that taken care of. Although he assures me that they will look pretty when he is done...in other words white, not metal, just the thought of that drill has me quaking.
A day to spend with my girls.
A chat with my son last evening.
A dentist who cares.
Having coverage to see the dentist!
Christmas season is officially here, I can now sing Christmas carols without people looking at me weird ( okay, so they still look at me weird, but it's as a result of me singing, not the carols!)
A wonderful conversation last evening with Garry about future happenings.
Have a wonderful Silly Saturday, make laughter a part of your day.
