The second Saturday of every month I have a standing appointment for theraputic massage. YAY, today is the day!
My therapist is someone that I have been going to now for almost 4 years. Wendy know just how to make my body behave it's self and how to correct those trouble spots each time I go. One of the things that I love about Wendy is she is spirit lead, which means that she relies on spiritual direction and allows spirit to work through her and provide healing. I come away from my hour session with her feeling wonderful. ahhhhhh.
Our department move has been delayed until Wednesday morning now. Apparently the floors in our department need to be sealed and that is to take place this weekend. But our old location is looking very empty now. Almost all the books have now been transported to the new library, desks from the Youth department, Adult Services and Administration have now been transported. So we really are working between two buildings at the moment. Chaos reigns! But at least it appears to be organized chaos. Temporary tables and folding chairs have been set up for those of us that still have computer work to do each day. Because our new location is still considered a "work site" we are not allowed to be over there working at anything other than pre-set ups until October 18th when the safety inspection of everything is signed off.
I had the wonderful priviledge of being authorized to head to the main post office and officially have our change of address put into place. As of October 25th our mail and parcels that travel through Canada Post will be redirected to the new library. It's official...we have a new address!
Our new digs are an amazing 67,000 square feet of space, spread over two levels. I will try and take some pictures for you and post them. We are very excited about our new building (even though I will probably get lost trying to find my way around)
It's the weekend.
My massage Saturday and my lower back is more than ready for some of Wendy's magic touch.
Our mortgage renewal has been approved and we go and sign the papers on Tuesday. We changed banks due to a better rate, so everything needed to go through approval again.
It's Thanksgiving weekend, my children will be coming over for a shared dinner on Sunday...yay...kid time!
Sun is supposed to share today and temps are supposed to reach the high teens, thank you for the lovely weather.
Getting better at letting the small stuff go and moving forward without it's baggage.
That my habits of positive affirmations and gratefulness are paying off.
Have a wonderfully blessed day, enjoy your day, share some laughter and just be happy.

What a great start to the day, 25 points on the wheel this morning. Woo Hoo.
Even our weather has been lovely. These past two weeks, we have had nicer weather than we have had all summer. Sunshine every day and temperatures above normal for this time of year. YAY!
This weekend we celebrate Thanksgiving. The kids will all be coming over to enjoy a meal together. I'm so happy to have them all living close by and being able to see them as often as we do.
Our move is going well at work. Our department was supposed to be dis-assembled today and moved over, but it has been postponed until Tuesday due to flooring issues in our new location. I get to stay behind in the old location with a laptop to work from, which I',m okay with.
Sunshine and warm weather.
My order of books arrived yesterday. They all look so interesting, it's hard to decide which one to read first!
A quick and lovely chat with Nancy.
The weekend coming up, which will provide me with opportunity to answer my emails!
God, family and friends.
Have a Fabulous Friday, keep on moving forward towards your goals.

What a wonderfully blessed day yesterday. As some of you know, we have been having a problem with our furnace through out last winter and despite having the repair people out 4 times last year, they couldn't figure out why it kept going out. They would change parts, run tests and the furance when relit would start working. Over the summer we talked about what we were going to have to do. Were we going to have a major expense with replacing the furnace or would we finally be able to find out what the problem is.
My light bulb moment...just ask for guidance from the angels and ask that the problem be fixed without a large expense. So, we waited for direction...hmmmm, last week we received a letter in the mail from the Atco gas company telling us that according to Federal mandate they are required to periodically change out our meters...someone would have to be home so they could come in and check that all gas appliances were working once they changed the meter...please call to make arrangements. Yesterday morning we woke up to the furnace not working again, no heat only cold air as the furnace hadn't kicked in properly during the night. Anyway, I left Garry a note on the table as I went out the door for work.
Part way through my morning at work, we had one of the ceiling light fixtures burn out and our department filled with exceptionally strong chemical smells. My director came back and informed me that I was to head home as she didn't want me in the building with the smell (I react very badly to chemical smells, and already had eye irritation and my throat was clogging up). Thankfully, I am set up to work from home in such situations, so it was not a problem.
I phoned Garry to let him know that I needed to head home and asked him if he had remembered to call the gas company. Oops, he hadn't, so he called and when he mentioned to them our problem with the furnace, they deemed it an emergency and headed out to the house within the hour...woo hoo, I was home, now it's an emergency...talk about action happening.
When the service guy came in and we opened the basement door(we usually keep it shut when no one is down in the basement) you could smell a faint gas smell. Out comes the guy's little meter reader thingy and it starts beeping like crazy. We apparently had three areas that there were minor gas leaks, which bless his heart he was able to fix as well as he said that the pilot light was yellow, so he fixed that and voila! our furnace is working again. He informed me that the fixes he made should ensure that our furnace works properly. Awesome, Thank you Universe for answered prayer and at no charge!
I'm getting better at turning problems and concerns over to my guides, angels and God.
Answered prayer about out furnace.
No more gas leaks....big HOORAY
I'm heading back in to work this morning...co-worker phoned me yesterday afternoon to say that the smell was fading quickly once they were able to remove the fixture.
Being blessed with a director that is concerned about all her employees.
Being able to work from home as needed.
Finally got my oven cleaned and now it's clean and ready to cook the Thanksgiving meal this weekend.
Have a wonderful day,

I just realized this morning that I need to get "goodies" soon for all the little people that will be coming to the door at the end of this month. Yikes it's Halloween time soon.
I've been so focused on all the other things that are going on that I forgot about what month this is. Guess I'll need to make a Costco run very soon or all the "goodies" will be gone.
Such a contradiction in messages that we give our children. "Don't take candy from strangers" and then " go to a strangers door and ask them for candy". I'm just happy to see so many parents actually accompaning their children as they run from house to house.
I'm almost caught up with the backlog of orders that accumulated while I was off for a week.
A new day to be all that I can be.
A co-worker that offered me a ride home from work yesterday so that Garry didn't have to leave his work to come and get me. Bless her heart.
The next two weeks, my hours have been changed at work to ensure that someone is at our old library to accept and re-direct any deliveries. I get to go in at 8am instead of 5:30 am. Of course that means my day doesn't end until later than usual, but it's only temporary. I'll probably still wake up at my usual time out of habit, lol It will be strange going to work in the daylight.
I had a confirmation that the books I ordered online have been shipped....yay, they should arrive here this week.
Life, blessings, friends and family.
Have a wonderful day, keep on moving forward towards the life you desire.

It's a wonderful start to the day. I woke up! What better reason for celebrating than that! I always feel so blessed to wake each morning knowing that I have before me another day to be filled with happiness, to experience all that life has to give me, to be presented with opportunities to be a blessing in someone else's life.
By starting off my day with positive affirmations and a grateful heart, how can my day be anything but wonderful. Sure there will be moments of "life" happening, but I have the choice to rise above those moments or sink in them.
Yesterday's first day back at work after some time off, was a good day. Lots of things happening around us as boxes get packed and books begin the move. A great sense of comradeship, of knowing that at the end of the tunnel there is a new facility and new beginnings. It's all about making the decision to go with the flow and asking one's self " will this issue matter 30 minutes from now, 2 hours from now, tomorrow, next week"
Having the ability to read, having eye sight, having an open heart and mind.
Having a wonderful relationship with my three children.
Food on my table, a warm bed to sleep in, a roof over my head, a healthy body.
Family and friends.
A job that provides me with what I need at this time in my life.
Life is good...celebrate it.
