Rain, Sleet, Or Snow Laurie Got To Go !
That Is what My Family Keep Telling Me
We Had An Early Morning Rain, I Was Glad To See It Was Ending When I Got Up.
Went To The Track, With The Intentions To Walk But, As Usual I Got passed 3.1 Miles(5k)
Then I Thought Let Me Run a 5K (3.1) By This Point My Body Was Well Warmed Up.
I Was At A Steady Pace To Continue On To 10K (6.2 Miles) I Ran It Out Until 7 Miles.
The Longer I Ran" The Better I Felt," 40 Laps Total.
On Yesterday I Had Obstacles In My Way, It Was Norfolk State University Homecoming Parade, People Were All Over The Place.
I Felt Like I Didn't Work Out As Hard So YES I Can Say " I Work Out Hard This Morning"
Oh ! I Also Ran The Bleachers x 4 Sets ( 2,680 )
I Did It !

I was at the track @ 5:30 am warming Up "Thinking Since I ran On Yesterday I Would Power Walk Today.
I Did Just That, Power Walked 5 Miles, Plus added the Bleecher Steps x 2 Sets(1,340) By 7:00 am I was Done.
I Went back to another Track Near home to Finnish my walking, after 3 Miles I Had That Urge To throw in a few Run Miles for G.P. which turned into 4 Miles. So I Continued around the Track for my cool down.
A Lady stopped me and said " I Remembered You From B.T. Track, Commenting on me How well I Look, and was Proud To See I have Started Running.
At this point I was Headed Around to the Bench to sit and drink My Water I Heard Another Voice say " Excuse Me"
There was Another Lady Comming from Across The Street, She Also Said " What A Fine Job You Have Done, You Look Terrific. She Liked the Fact That I Was So Dedicated.
She Remembered When I First Started walking and now You are running. She said" keep Up The Great Work"
~What A PROUD Moment !

On Yesterday I Was Motivated To Just Run 4 Miles + Power Walk 2 Miles, Which I Accomplished.
I Went Back To Another Track Near Home , Ran 6 Miles + Power walked 3 more Miles.
2 Of My Friends I Hadn't seen since Early Summer Came onto the Track so I walked Another 2 Miles with them to catch Up on a few Things.
My Morning Goal was to Run 10K (6.2Miles)
I Had A Great Start Counting the Laps as I go around. After Lap 9 I was Comfortable, I Had My Ipod tuned to all the upbeat Music, Running at a steady Pace. Thinking " I Got This "
Right around Laps 15-20 It Began to Drizzle.
I Stepped Up My pace, but the rain came witht the last 1.2 miles I was Drentched, I Went the Distance, 7 Miles.
Just Figure I Was Counting Laps from B.T. Track 4 laps = 1 mile
Shoop Track 3 laps = 1 mile
Who Knew I Surpass All Expectations 9 Non-stop Miles.
Overwhelmed with Joy !
Another Goal Accomplished !

~Learning To Say "NO" When People's Request Will Get In The Way Of Your Commitments You've Made For Yourself.
~Saying Good-Bye To Your Guilt.
* For Me Weightloss Had To Be A Lifestyle Change. I Had To Find Ways To Do Things I Like To Do.
*I Went to The High School Track Near Home, Made Friends With people Who Enjoy Doing The Same Kind Of Exercise Together.
*Sometimes I Would Walk With With People-Find Out What Works For Them, And I Would Give Them A Tip Or Two.
You Know Cause We All Are In This Together....
