208 lbs size 18 at my highest weight to 132lbs size 6? An advocate for health and wellness? Sharing a Way to Walk for Wellness and Weightloss with the entire world.? How did I get here? Promoting Leslie Sansone when she released her Walk Eat Loose Series of DVD's on National Television (QVC)? How did get to be a Leslie Sansone 3-mile DVD cast member in her 2010 Series Walk Eat Loose? How did I get here? Sept 2009 I became a Leslie Sansone Certified Walk Leader, November 2009 Washington States 1st Certified Walk Leader Leading WALK Live! Classes in Washington? How did I get here? Holding down a full-time job, yet voluteering at wellness events and Serving the Community in Walking for Wellness!
Following an ambulance ride and several hospital visits for hypertension and headaches, I made a commitment to 30 minutes of Walking this way a day.
After loosing 70 lbs (77lbs), I grew to recognize how easy and effective walking this way is for health and weight loss. This is not a traditional walk, this is a calorie torching, fat burning, stress releasing total body walking workout, not a stroll around the block (weights and firm bands are optional).
My passion for walking, desire to help others; regardless of age and fitness level, and the support and encouragement from my sister led me to Florida for Certification.
After passing the written and movement exam, I was among the first group in the country to become a Certified Walk Live Leader. I have appeared in 8 QVC shows to promote and release the 2010 Leslie Sansone DVD Series “Eat, Walk Lose”. I am featured in the 3-Mile Super walk DVD, a QVC exclusive, along with my sister.
I was thrilled on November 19, 2009 to launch WALK Live Classes for better health, fitness and weight loss in Washington State.
Walk Live Classes are aerobic walk classes conducted using the walking techniques established and proven through the many years of success of Leslie Sansone’s Walk At Home programs.
Walk Live Classes are conducted using exciting, motivating music along with four basic steps, which make this Walk fun and suitable for all WALKS OF LIFE.
Making a difference – one step at a time!
I use my two feet to help others with regular participation in American Heart Association Walks, Relay for Life Cancer Walk, and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk. You can say, I Walk the Talk. I am continuously seeking out venues to get involved with to inspire others to walk for wellness primarily, with the added benefit of long-term health and weight loss. I am married and a proud mother of 2, and one grandchild.
I conduct demos at corporate events, health fairs, safety events, etc..I welcome you visit website: www.walkliveforlife.com
