I am an emotional eater at times...Always have been.. Before Spark People, my emotional eating would be in the form of cookies, chips, etc. Basically, the typical comfort foods....On my quest to health, I started consuming LOTS of veggies, fruit, seeds, nuts, beans, etc.... These foods provide me with soooooo many good nutrients, that I rarely crave the other foods... So, now, when I am upset... I tend to turn to healthy goodies like stuffed grape leaves or homemade Lara bars. I will consume more of these than normal, but not enough to cause me to binge.
