Lifestyle Change

Wednesday, October 26, 2011

Dieting without a lifestyle change is like patching a flat tire.
You can put a temporary fix on the damaged area to get the car rolling again.
But itís highly likely that youíll just end up patching it again later - just as itís likely that youíd have to diet again at some point.
There are millions of frustrated dieters out there who have made a practice of patching tires again and again and again, and are still struggling

+60

Seniors has other targets when they do their exercise especially if the BMI is just above the required.
they need to achieve a pulse rate 50 - 70 % of the resting rate and sweating to get the benefit of trying to open heart vessels ( coronary artery collateral) that is the unopened small blood vessels that are nor needed in ordinary daily life.
Opening these are beneficial in case the major ones get blocked by the plagues of cholesterol.
They needs to do 10-20 minutes after reaching the target of the heart rate and sweating so to keep those opened vessels to stay as they are.

Rise up:

Saturday, October 22, 2011

Life is filled with obstacles and tests that sometimes knock us off our feet.
When we loose our balance and fall flat on our faces, itísimportant to stand up again rather than to sink into doubt and depression...and dust ourselves off.

Getting up again generates greater spiritual Light in the world than if we had never fallen in the first place.
The fact that we fell is not whatís important.
True greatness is in the act of rising again

Pear or Apple

Monday, October 17, 2011

The fat in our body can accumulate either around the waist or around the buttocks
so you either be an apple or a pear
each one has a problem
the worst is the apple as it increases the heart disease risk
this one is difficult to get rid off.

Don't forget the straight shape. I am straight up and down like a tree. It's very hard to find jeans that fit.

The friends 50+

Sunday, October 16, 2011

My dear :
I keep finding friends who mix GOOD FOOD and Eating habits.
There is great difference of something which is good and not harmful and that doesn't allow you to eat as much as you like forgetting that this good food is full of calories which will have an effect on your weight.
SO please don't forget that all food has calories which need to be watched as well as your health needs to go for the GOOD STUFF.
Eat Good Food with MEASURE.
