I haven't known where I've been going for a while now. I'm still in that sort of limbo. I really hate saying that sort of thing here at Spark. I've just being 'going with it' for a while. I do have healthy eating habits and main time I've been slacking is tea time - So that's better than slacking for whole days?
I know what I need more than anything, and it's a workout plan. A plan right in front of me that I can go to each day and not have to think about anything, just have it right there telling me "DO THIS TODAY!".
You'd think with there being SO MANY online sites full of free workouts on offer, there would be no problem having something to do every day, but it's so easy to be lazy and not bother to look around, so I've made a plan for this week. This is what it looks like.
(I used some fresh ideas from my good Spark-friend PENFOLDROCKS, different suggested sites etc, I've fallen inlove with a new one - lovingfit.com - goooody!!)
Monday - Zumba & ZWOW#7
Tuesday - Rose Among Thorns (lovingfit.com)
Wednesday - Transform Your Booty (Bodyrock)
Thursday - Abs workout (menshealthmagazine)
Friday/Saturday - KB Warrior W/out (maxwellsc.com) [Friday or Saturday, and choose a short 12 min workout for the other day)
(I will also be doing a class or two as well as Zumba, but haven't finalised which ones/days with my class-mate (ha!) so... y'know, they'll be added to this list too.)
So, yes, it isn't wonderful, and I'm not shooting too high. I've chosen workouts that don't look too tough so that I actually start them. Except for the Warrior workout. Hmmm. But once I get going during the week, things will get easier.
I shall weigh myself when I get home later (I'm at work right now) and then will probably shoot towards a little loss. Yes. I'll create some more goals in the weightloss department. I'm also creating a shopping list - Which I'll do later with the husband so that I don't create one now and then he will refuse everything on the list - so we're best to do it together, lol.
So there we have it. Let's go again. :)

I am HOME! :D I had a truly wonderful time, but at the same time it's really nice to be home... and ... God forbid... Back to work! I don't know whether it's me getting older, but coming home isn't so bad anymore, and back to work, back to familiarity. It's kind of nice. Yikes!!!!
So I just wanted to blog what I wrote down for my fitness minutes. Looking at it now, I did way more than I thought, WHOOSH! AND.... After a major set-back on the first day (I'm about to explain) I foolishly almost gave up to begin with!!!
So here we go..... (I flew March 31st...)
** 1st April
-5 Mins jump rope
-10 mins Circuit Training (BodyRock w/out, modified "Take it Off" workout")
--High Knees - 110-103-105
--Ninja Jump Tuck - 9-7-8
--Squats - 26-26-X
--V Lift Abs (on Chairs) - 16-17-X
= 15 mins
Notice the two X's on the last squats and V lift abs??? Yeah... WELL have I got a story to tell. Well, I was on a first floor of a small block of hotel rooms. The rooms seemed really sturdy, and the floor was a stone tile, kind of like marble, and just felt so.... stable to be honest. I asked the husband when we first arrived and we bounced about a bit on the floor and I thought - Hell yeah, I can work out and jump rope on this!
WELL. 6 am came Sunday morning after we'd arrived Saturday evening. We were wide awake with the time difference. We were 7 hours behind when we arrived but that Sunday, Mexico's clocks went forward an hour, taking us 6 hours behind the UK. So I got up at 6am to work out, which most people on the resort were adapted to, but the time was actually 7am with the time change, am I explaining this okay??
So I'm jumping rope, and sweating my bits off BodyRocking, when I'm about to start my second round squats, there's a knock on the door. My husband refused to answer it as he was in bed and wasn't dressed appropriately. :P It didn't quite enter my mind why on earth somebody would be knocking on our door just after 7am.... until....
Oh I answered the door. Yikes was I in for the shock of my life.
A blonde lady was stood there, red faced and furious. I was stood there, sweating, catching my breath, in my workout clothes. The conversation went something like this ---
Lady~"Are you exercising?!?!?!?!?!"
Me~"....Yes! Could you...?"
"Yes we could hear you!"
"Oh, I'm so sorr"
"All's we can hear is these massive BANGS!!"
"Oh my gosh I'm so so sorry"
"Bang bang bang that's all we can hear!!!"
"I'm so sor"
"You woke us up! With the walls shaking and banging!!"
"I'm so sorry, I didn't think you would hear as the floors seem to be stone."
"Well we did hear, it's ALL we heard! Bang bang bang like a heard of elephants! This is ridiculous!"
"I'm so sorr"
"I can't believe you're exercising at this time of morning! It's ridiculous!"
"I'm so sorry you hear..."
"There's a lovely beach down there! Go and exercise THERE!"
"Er, yes okay"
"We did NOT plan to get up this early!! Fff!" *storms off*
Oh my gosh, LOL. It's funny now I look back at it, but I was mortified at the time. She wouldn't let me get a word in edgeways - AND I was totally out of breath so couldn't get a word in edgeways no matter how hard I tried, LOL!!! I was so sad after that to be honest, I was so sorry and she wouldn't listen to me. I really didn't think anybody would hear me. I showered and was quiet. I felt like crying. The husband asked if I was okay, and we laugh about it now - I'd just got out of the shower afterwards and I just sat there in my towel and said - "She was SO mean!" LOL.
I'm still a child really.
Anywho's. I spent the day wondering what on earth I was going to do. I got on with it anyways, and did silent BodyRock style workouts and went the gym too. Took advantage of the aqua aerobics in the day time and also the volleyball (water and beach) which I LOVE. I love getting involved in sport and I stopped doing that after I gained so much weight, but it was amazing to be able to join in with everyone and with 'the boys' and actually be able to put a good game in for and with my team.
So to continue-
I finished off the 1st April with 2 x 10 1 alt leg raised pushups and 2 x 10 crunches to try and strengthen my stupid rattled self up.

(Trying to ease my tummy back into being alive)
--15 Mins Ping Pong (late at night... HEY, it counts :P)
--45 mins aqua aerobics
--10 mins Ping pong.

I got a tattoo on this day. I'm mega pleased with it. It's becoming tradition, getting a tattoo while I'm away, ha. My Mum actually likes it too! I was worried about showing her, as it's bigger than my Tiger I got last year in Thailand. I have the tattoo-addiction bug!
SO. I'm more than pleased with my holiday minutes. Flew out on the 14th leading into the 15th. Work today on the 16th and I plan to get back on BodyRocking tomorrow as Lisa's new (booby!) workout is due up tomorrow??? And then I'm back on to hardcore workouts and clean eating!
I mostly ate well on hols too by the way, having whatever I wanted for dinner (small, gourmet servings) and fruit with yogurt and granola (yum) for breakfast. I did not go over board in any way. HELL YEAH. Even on the alchohol. ;)
I would highly recommend where I stayed in Mexico... I don't have the energy to go into it properly, but if you'd like to check it out - it was this hotel.
So my next step is to catch up with everyone. If you've read this far, then holy heck, WOW and big thank yous hehe... I doubt anybody will want to go through that load of... useful information ;) lmao!
So gimme some time and I'll drop by and be glad to see you! :) x

So a few of you lovely people have asked for pictures of the swimwear I got.... Sooooo... I braved some pictures! :P
Just started packing tonight, so hope to catch up with everyone tomorrow and before I go on Saturday. Been to Body Attack tonight, really enjoyed it and know the class quite well now, so it seems to fly by!
So these are my swimwear purchases...
Ha. And the wearing pics. Eek this really does give an adrenaline rush posting these things doesn't it? I'm in fight or flight mode now... haha!!
The green swimsuit -
And the pink bikini ...
(Wasn't too happy that I decided to take these pics after eating dinner... haha)
The good things in I'm feeling quite confident (although I know I'm FAR from perfect) and can't wait to just enjoy myself and rest, and ignore if anyone looks at me and just be comfortable with my Hubs.
Oh and since I'm talking about purchases, I got some nice sandals too that I love already.
Nails need to be painted before departure!
While I'm here, I just checked out some old bikini pictures. I took them around this time last year, so they're some good comparisons. I was in my best shape before I went to Thailand last year. I think I see some changes. Whether or not I'm just closer with the camera on the old pictures, I think I look a bit smaller.
And these are from September 2011.
(I have my blonde longer hair on these pics!!)
I don't know about anything else, but I think I look a bit less bloated and maybe not as 'thick'?
Eh, how did this quick blog turn into this?! LOL.
Okay ... I need to get some sleep, work tomorrow, haircut, Spark time, finish packing. So much to do!

Erm.... 4 more sleeps until Mexico-co-coooooo! Okay I'm getting REALLY excited!! :D
Sunday at work, got really chaotic soon after my blog. Like major chaotic. Sheesh. I sort of knew that would happen though, making me appreciate my break and holiday more when it gets here! Things were eventually sorted, I rushed home, showered and dressed (in killer heels by the way) and arrived 30 mins late at the restaurant where my Mum and Sis were waiting. They were cool though and had some wine chilling for my arrival, ha. Had a really lovely time eating a lovely meal, chit chatting, and having quite a bit of wine.
Monday! I was rather tired from the night before (and slightly hungover I ADMIT :P) but I kept my eating good. Oh and I had a visit to the dentist for a filling. Wasn't too pleased about that. Went to Zumba and had some fun. Was glad to get a sweat on and stay active!
Tuesday. Today has FLEW by. Good day. Very very warm and sunny outside! Nice to have such lovely weather. No outdoor workouts though, the place is alive through the week and I wouldn't get any quiet alone time anywhere, ha.
Arrived home and checked out BodyRock. No updates so I went back to the latest interval workout. Lots of fun. I sort of felt like doing nothing tonight, but reminded myself of being consistent and keeping at it.. And that was enough to persuade me. Felt great then throughout and after the workout. Oh, this is what it looked like.
30 second work intervals. 10s rest.
One Armed KB Swing (14kg) - 20-19-20
Squat + Press Leg Lifts (14kg) - 5-5-5
Plank Press Up Drunk Chicken - 5-5-5
Backward Lunge w/ Kick (14kg) - 8-10-10
Running Man - 18-17-19
Pendulum - 39-42-39
Dumbell Twist (5kg) - 11-11-12
Side to Side Abs (5kg) - 23-22-25
Great stuff. I then skipped high knees for 2 mins. Then added a 3 min ab bonus of my own. I want to keep this lovely feeling I have... My body feeling so much more toned, and it's getting better. Consistency !!
I should have taken a picture of my outfit on Sunday, because I threw it together last minute but felt really good. Just some leggings, with a longish racerback top and my (only pair of) killer heels. Funny thing is, I walk so much better in heels after a drink or two than I do sober. Too much concentration is needed!! My Mum complimented me and my Sister said I looked very "slight". I've never been described as 'slight' before. LOL. We were talking workouts at one point and my Mum just said "Bloody size of her muscles!" LOL. Yeah, me being the not-so-girly type, that really made my day and made me smile. :)
Okayyy! So I ordered online a new bikini and swimsuit so I'm gonna go try them on! And I'm thinking about doing my workouts in Mexico first thing most mornings, before the day begins. And there was something else but my mind has just gone BLANK!
Ciao for now!
