Well hi there!
I did mean to blog on Friday. Then Saturday... Then.... You get the idea.
The food went bad again. I swear my dentist has cursed me. Since asking if I eat sweat things... I am CRAVING sugar so bad that I keep buying it and chomping it down like there's no tomorrow. Sweet sugary jelly sweets and chocolate... I never buy chocolate... Oh well I've bought chocolate lately. I'm telling myself it's not so bad because I haven't been having the sweet stuff ADDITIONAL to my junk food takeaways - I am still TAKEAWAY-FREE right now... Yay! But ah... Diet diet diet! How come knowing what is right and wrong and what is so good for us and what is not so good for us... still isn't enough for our little brains to make the RIGHT decision?!
I've broken the non-workout chain anyway. I didn't workout Friday to Monday either. I was cool with a rest day or two after my 30 Day Challenge... And then Sunday went by. In all honesty I let it slip by thinking "I can't be bothered." It's so stupid how I let this happen, after being so good on ON IT, I watch myself tone up, I tighten up and lose some weight and feel amazing... feel amazing in my clothes and am filled with confidence, YET I still then skip the good stuff (workouts) and laze around not being 'bothered' and pig out instead.
We humans are not logical.
Monday was supposed to be Zumba time but my workout-pal pulled out on me... And that was a good enough excuse for me to pull out too.
ANYWAY - Looking forward. Did Hot Booty workout tonight.. So so hard I could have cried. Constant back to back of 10 seconds on squat jumps / lunges, to 10 seconds mountain climbers. Never. Ending. I'm about to get a bath. Relax whilst the hubby watches football. I'd much rather play football than watch it.
Thursday I am booked in for Body Attack. No quitting that class - even if the workout bud cancels, I love this one too much. I also decided to make up for being bad and skipping zumba - so I asked said workout bud (I should say fitness class bud really) if she fancied doing a class this weekend... So we have decided on a Body Pump class for 9am Saturday morning. How fantastic will that be? I'm already really excited... I am seeing a friend Friday night and wine will be involved... BUT knowing I have a class at 9am should definitely curb me from over-indulging too much! ;)
I haven't had much internet time at all (it's been that 'can't-be-bothered' phase, so I'm really sorry for being behind with everyone. I'm slowly trying to get up to date, so if I've been rude and not got back to you or said hello - I'm sorry! :(
Pushing for a super successful Wednesday! And it's just under 3 weeks until I jet off to Mexico for 2 weeks - I cannot afford to be slipping in diet OR exercise right now!!

Time is flying by at the moment... Not had time to blog or catch up with everyone. I shall find that time! Tomorrow! ;)
Finished February's 30 Day BodyRock Challenge. I actually FINISHED it. Did every workout posted. Okay I was a day or two behind sometimes... But can you believe I finished it?! Hehe, I'm very proud of myself for sticking to it - and I've surprised myself! :)
The final Fit Test was a wonderful reward to the whole 30 days. I was bouncing around the house with happiness. Here is my final test scores, and the previous middle of the 30 day's fit test scores. Check out the improvements! (Old in brackets)
-Squat Jumps - 35 (28)
-Pushups - 28 (20)
-Burpee's - 10 (8) (full burpee's.... oops)
-High Knee's - 116 (95)
-Jump Lunges - 37 (33)
-Tuck Jumps - 22 (18)
-Tricep Dips - 31 (19)
-Straight Abs - 27 (21)
I thought I had pushed to the best of my ability in the old test... So to improve with bigger numbers was such an amazing feeling... A nice surprise, and a reminder of what I can do when I put my mind to it.

Oh and for sharing, here is yesterday's lunch. A salad loaded with spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, avocado, ham, and the yellow stuff is chillililli! Picalilli with chilli in it! Very yummy. I had it for lunch today too.
And to finish - I just got back from my second Body Attack class. It was brilliant! Seemed to fly by this time and didn't feel as hard as the first class. A few more and I think I might be able to keep up with the instructor.... ;) haha !

Little update. T'is Sunday. I did Day 3 of Week 4 tonight. Woo! I'm a little bit behind, but I'm still on the 30 Day Challenge. That's the main thing!!
Today's workout was a good one, a list of 17 exercises, all different, and only going at each exercise for 30 seconds. It was a LOT of fun. My scores looked like this ~

Whew! So Happy Sunday!
Yesterday was kind of awful. I went to see a friend on Friday night and we had some drinks. I didn't drink much really, BUT I made the mistake of totally mixing my drinks... So Saturday I was ill all day - hungover. Bad bad bad Steph. I had a bad case of alcohol poisoning... I couldn't eat or drink without vomiting within an hour of consuming it. Not a good day. So no workout happened - when it should have.
Back to last week, started week 4 happily, going well. Thursday I had a Body Attack class... But while we were waiting to start, the instructor still hadn't turned up - so it got cancelled there and then. Sad times. :( I was REALLY psyched for the class too... and also scared too because I knew the 2nd session would be harder than the first. I did plan on BodyRocking instead but by the time I drove home, I didn't feel like doing anything.
So Thursday ended up being an unscheduled rest day. Then Saturday. We're okay though, we're still grasping on. :)
Two more days left for me of the 30 Day Challenge now... eek! And one of those is the final fit test!! Tomorrow's workout is a 420 rep time challenge... I'm slightly worried about because tomorrow I have a theatre trip with my Mum and Sister, a little girly night... the show starts at 7:30pm and I finish work at around 5:30pm... So I'm HOPING I can fit my workout in.... I don't want too many rest days in before I give it my all in the final fit test. :-s
So things are good and I'm really tired now. Early night again for me I think!!
