Be careful what u ask for AKA my job is making me fat again

Be careful what you wish for... I say it all the time. So why was the old me... The 18-20 size wearing person always complaining at the job that they never do anything for us. Why was I always asking for bacon and eggs in our morning meetings or snacks in the afternoon to keep up our strength up while cleaning all these rooms. But that was the old me. The size 10 me eats Special k cereal, skim milk and fruit in the morning. So what's with all the food. First the all you can eat luncheon now today made to order omelets with waffles. Station right in the hallway where you walk down to clock in at. Here she comes... The one that use to complain all the time the one that wanted bacon and eggs. She wants a omelet alright and she wants everything on it even the kitchen sink. Cant turn it down the 18-20 size ask for it many times. But the size 10 wants to stay a size 10. I take it... Here's your waffle. Do you at least have sugar free syrup? Just for you, we know your on a diet. Not a diet just eating healthy. Now I wonder if 8 hours worth of making beds, cleaning tubs and vaccuming worked it off. No lunch and a light dinner for me tonight before 7pm. 1 hour on treadmill tonight. Will check for damages aka weigh myself in the morning. The old me is really getting the new me in big trouble.

150's Here I Come!!

Today was my weekly weight and one of my loooong time goals is in sight. I am about to reach the 150's. If I lose .2 lbs I will be in the 150 plus range. I havent seen 150 anything since before I had my first child and that was 29 years ago. Guess I been carry that after baby weight around a long time... but I have to say I have had 2 other children after my first one so I really been carrying around a lot of after baby weight. To be 50 years old and to be the same weight and size I was in my 20s is big for me. Just hope menopose doesnt sneak up on me and I start gaining weight.

    Super Congratulations... I know exactly how you feel, I reached the 150's several years back, and can't seem to get out of the 180's right now! FANTASTIC!

2.3 Pounds Lighter...WOOHOO!!

Today is my weekly weigh-in. With this past week being spring break for my kids and a short week working as a housekeeper I wasn't looking forward to it. Had to substitute the cardio I get from working to walking for the week with only one Wii workout because the kids took over the Wii console with their games. My 9 year old doesn't like to walk (see blog) so I didn't get my mileage in either. All I could do was to control my food intake and hope for the best. My last 2 weigh-in were way under a pound each so this weigh-in was not looking too good. But the Wii board don't lie!!! The line moved under the last weeks line. I"m 2.3 pounds lighter and feeling it. emoticon

Daughter Doesn't Like to Walk

This week is spring break for the kids. Had to take time off from work because the boys and girls club my 9 year old goes to is closed. It's so easy to get my cardio at work. I'm going to have to work hard this week to get what I need. Mainly because my daughter doesn't like to walk. Don't get me wrong she is active, plays outside when weather permits but the walking thing... she wants to get there and get back.
So today was a new one on her when I told her we was walking to the food pantry. It's over 3 miles there and back and sometimes the bags I carry are heavy. She complained the whole way there... from it's to hot, not like walking in the sun and bugs flying around. Once we got home there was only a 30 minute rest before we were out again walking to the bus stop to go to the mall which I would have walk to if I was by myself.
Need less to say it was a early night for her and I didn't have the heart to wake her up so she could change her clothes and put on her pj's. Little does she know we'll be walking again tomorrow.

Day After Luncheon Binge

First I would like to thank all who posted with words of concern and encouragement. I was really bummed out about my binge and might have done something crazy like starve myself today or at worst drink a bottle of that bad tasting laxative to clean everything out. The last time I did that I ended up wearing a diaper for 2 weeks. I took the advise of most... ate some fruit before going to bed, drunk plenty of water today and got back on track. The damages from my binge were not to bad considering I didnt eat any dinner last night but I did go way over my calories, fat,carbo and sodium. I did meet my protein intake for the day...LOL Since this luncheon is going to be a regular event each month I plan on preparing myself so I don't make the same mistakes. Can't be off every month they have one but I will know a couple days ahead.

1. Eat a nice healthy breakfast so I wont be starving.
2. Drink plenty of water before.
3. Sit as far from the food line as possible, if I have to walk far I might not get up for seconds.
4. Use the smallest plates to eat out of.
5. Have a friend who know I'm eating healthy to help me with self control.
