Happy to report that due to a lot of prep work yesterday, I only ate what I was supposed to eat while at work. I went to the gym after work and didn't overdo! I put my work clothes and papers away as soon as I got home, gathered up the trash (so DH could put it in the can and take them to the curb), and ate crock pot pot roast. I love it when a plan comes together!
Prep for tomorrow - breakfast and snacks only as I'm attending a retirement lunch for our office secretary. Don't worry, the restaurant where we holding the mini-celebration has lots of salads, soups, and chicken. Tomorrow is a rest day - the only cardio is walking to/from home and the bus stops and the bus stops to/from the office. Woo hoo, I should get 10,000 steps tomorrow!!

Hard to believe nearly one more year has flown by! Glad it's over as it was not one of my best years. I know I can do better.
Did menu planning for brekkie, lunch, and dinner yesterday. Just need to pick up a few things at the grocery store, Target, and Sam's today. I'm getting an early start, hoping to miss the Christmas shopping crowd at Target.
I have the whole week planned out on my FLYLady calendar (meals, CHAOS tasks, workouts, and rest days. From the food standpoint, I need to cut up salad goodies and portion them in daily baggies. Need to do the same with snacks for the work week. Already have the week's work clothes and workout clothes prepped and ready to go! Preparation has always been my key to following the nutrition and fitness plan!
Goal for the week at work - stay positive!!

Joined a fitness program through my health insurance over the weekend. Yesterday, I went to the gym that was my 2nd choice (the 1st choice couldn't find me in their system).
Very happy that the 2nd gym worked out because it was my kind of place - clean, friendly/helpful staff, locker rooms with showers, great view of the river from the cardio room. The equipment was very clean and well maintained.
Even though I did a tiny work out yesterday, it was a great start to getting back into the swing of things regarding fitness.

I don't know why I'm starting off November very slowly regarding exercise. I have not been walking at lunch so that is part of it. Yes, I know it's gotten colder however I have a treadmill and workout videos and we have an underground garage at work that I have walked in the past.
Just need to get my butt in gear and do it.

It took the entire month of October for me to wrap my head around the fact that I MUST change my ways regarding eating and exercising.
Even though I stumbled through dinner last night, I was 100% OP for breakfast and lunch yesterday. I'm happy with kaizen steps so yesterday was a win.
Today will be better. I've already had a great OP breakfast, getting ready to eat a snack, have lunch planned, and will stick to a salad at Applebee's tonight (attending an anniversary party).
A little improvement every day and the weight will melt away!
