So I've been working out like crazy for the past two weeks, I signed up for kickboxing lessons and I completely love it. I've been feeling great only to be discouraged when I looked at the scale and noticed I had gone up instead of having lost anything. Defeated I went to get ready for work and put on a dress where normally I feel like my ribcage is squished in but this time, it actually fit the way the dress is supposed to be. It was comfortable and I knew it wasnt' going to cut off my breathing when I sat, lol. It was just a great reminder to me that it's really not about the number on the scale but the way your body feels & your clothes fit.
