Suitcase Challenge

When I returned from my cruise a couple weeks ago, I filled this suitcase with clothes in my closet that I'm desperate to finally wear.

Some of them I've had for up to 2 years and it's crazy that I practically have a new wardrobe that I'm not ready to utilize yet.

My goal is to essentially already be half-packed for my next cruise vacation in April. I went so far as to lock the suitcase as well and will be trying on the garments for the first time after I lose 15lbs and then in 10lb increments.

    I did the exact same thing, except after I had the baby I went through my entire closet, tried everything on and felt really sad. Then I had my mother in law help me out by sorting the clothes by size, then I put them in boxes and labeled them (by size). THEN I forgot about them and did what I do here on SP. I exercised and made better food choices. Pretty soon, my normal clothes were falling off my butt! I needed new clothes and - BAM! The next size down box of clothes was right there when I needed it!
Get busy girlfriend. You can do it!

    No I won't wish you luck. I wish you wisdom in eating lots of vegs, little fruit, lean protein, no man made foods, good sleep, lots of water and the rest will sort it self out.

March Madness Challenge!

10 workouts = bronze
15 workouts = silver
20 workouts = gold

It's as simple as that! I know I'm going for gold and beyond! I'm really aiming for possibly 22 workouts.

I think this challenge comes at such a great time as I want to get my body ready for my 30th birthday cruise in September; seeing all the outfits I want to wear makes me push harder!

Weight Loss Goals

1. Lose 5lbs
2. Work out a total of 1,000 minutes
3. Try a group class

Personal Goals

1. Write in my journal 3 times a week
2. Go through finances and make necessary changes
3. Clean room (Trust me when I say this will take the entire month .. I think I'm moments away from being a hoarder!)

    After watching an episode of Hoarders, I was inspired to clean out my closet, basement and garage. So far, the garage is done and I'm making progress in the closet.

August Goals

2) Participate in a group class at the gym
3) Create an at home workout

Personal Goals

1) Work on a synopsis for a novel
2) Read my bible 3 times a week
3) Do a room purge and donate appropriate items

Project Comeback Queen

Personally, I've had enough.

I can talk a good talk, but when it comes to applying action to that talk, it doesn't seem to happen.

Well, not anymore.

After watching Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, I've decided to embark on my own year of self discovery and lifestyle changes. I was going to wait until my birthday, which is exactly 2 months away, but my health and peace of mind don't have time to waste.

For my first month, I'm just look to gain some routines in my life, such as hitting the gym a minimum of 4 times a week, healthy eating, reading my bible and spending quality time with myself.

I know I've said this before, but I'm extremely serious this time around. I have 14 months until I turn 30 and if God spares life, I don't want to be in this state when that time comes.
