Weigh in 4/26

I was so excited to get on the scale today I just knew it was going to be a good loss, it has been awhile. I was down 2.2lbs Yeah! I was also down 1/2 inch in my waist 31" and 1/2 inch in my hips 34.75, my lower hips stayed the same 39.75, dratt. I also lost a 1/4 inch in my neck I didn't think it could get any smaller it is only 13" now.
I was also called "Skinny" on Wednesday, that felt great it was from a guy too (happily married) he also told me that he heard his wife telling someone what an inspiration I was to her to get back into shape and healthy. That is such a great feeling. This is what Sparks is all about helping other people.

Well the scale was good to me it was down again not much but down non the less. I also measured today and i was down 1/2 inch on my waist and 1 inch on my lower hips around my butt. Yippee!
I do hope to see bigger losses in the near future especially since I am on 2 challenges one is a team effort and the other one is on my own that one is to loose 10lbs by Memorial day that would be so awesome. 140's look out here I come.

I'm going to a funeral tomorrow my friend Kerri's Nana died she was in her late eighties. She lived a good life and was ready to go home to her maker.
till next time, chow

I am so excited, finally after 14 years I broke the 160 mark. I honestly thought I would never see those numbers on my scale ever again but Praise God He is faithful. My scale read 159.4 this morning thats 3lbs. this week and that was with my Birthday and everything so that makes me very happy. Sparks has been the best thing for me it has taught me so much about healthy eating and exercise. Thanks Sparks.

I saw your smoothie recipe which looks great (I can't wait to try it) and I decided to check out your page. For the past 3 years I too have been stuck at 160 with the scale not budging at all (until a recent 4 pound gain!) I really believe in my heart that I am not capable of making the scale move in the opposite direction. Your weight loss after 14 years is inspiring and gives me hope! Thanks for posting that bit of info in your blog!
Happy Belated Birthday, and God's blessings!

I'm kind of behind on my blogging, "oh well"
I was a little disappointed that I didn't reach my goal of 160 but Aunt Flo came that day so I guess I'm glad to be down at all. I hope to reach it next week.
I turned 40 last Friday and I here to tell you about it. It was the best Birthday ever, it started off with my phone ringing at 7:30 with my friend Terri on the line wishing me a Happy Birthday and it never stopped. Then 12 of my friends had a Surprise b-day lunch for me, it was great. Then my friend Karin and I went to town and walked the mall 2 miles(see I even got my exercise in). THen 2 more of my friends met us for dinner and a movie. We say Wild Hogs it was a funny movie we laughed all the way through it. So I guess turning 40 wasn't so bad after all.

Weigh in week 3. 3/22

Thursday, March 22, 2007

Well weigh in was good I was down another 2lbs. and a 1/2 inch off my waist. I was doing good today but we had to go the cities for Craigs memorial service and we ended up eating out 2x that was not good I really ended up blowing it big time today I wont even try to guess how many calories I ate. I feel miserable too. I will do better tomorrow, I am not going to let one bad day ruin everything I have been working so hard for. Tomorrow is a new start. I can do ALL things through Christ who strenghtens me. Phil. 4:13

Everytime I go to the city, I come back with a gain, even if I'm picking great food choices off the menus. I think it has to do with all the extra sodium in the restaurant food. Don't let one day ruin your success. Just keep moving in a healthy direction. We'll get there! Cassie
