Funny how you always think you look great until you see the pictures...
So i have this picture on my fridge at home of this young woman that is stretching. I so want to have that pose taken when i'm thinner. I DID try to take a picture of myself doing it but i was laughing so hard because i could BARELY get my ankle in my hand long enough for my friend to snap the shot. But here's my attempt...

So i had a challenge with a fellow Spark buddy and i lost. My part of the challenge was that i needed to stay within my calorie range for the entire week. WELL...i missed 1 day and look what i had to do...
That picture was HARD to take. I didn't want my phone falling into the toilet, and i didn't want my face too close to the toilet. YES i needed the toilet, the brush and myself in the picture! LOL
Originally, back in January, i set my yearly fitness minutes goal at 24,000. I am currently at 24,279 minutes. So i changed it! My new 2012 fitness minutes goal is 30,000. I have 2 months to complete 5721 minutes...which is just over 95 hours...which is just over 92 minutes a day. Very doable!

It is COLD here in Texas. The last two mornings it was about 37/39 degrees...brrrrrrr!
Originally i had a 5k planned for Saturday morning...the Trek or Treat 5k. BUT a few weeks ago someone from my church approached me and asked if i'd join their walking/running group. Sure, i said BEFORE looking at my calendar. Well the start up date was the same day as my 5k. So i decided to support the church and i went to the walking/running group. It was ONLY 37 degrees on saturday morning! I recruited 2 other ladies so there were 4 ladies and the leader was some guy i've never met. WELL...he didn't show up. Something about trying to cancel it because it was too cold. WHAT?! We were already there so we went about our walk. We ended up doing a 10k in under 2hrs. Maybe the fact that it was cold made us move our butts a lot faster...we even stopped to use the rest room!
We were bundled up for sure!
Bathroom break about 3 miles into it...umm...i'm waiting outside of the restroom for the other ladies...lol...i'm not actually popping a squat right there...lol
This was her first real walk. Poor thing got blisters. We think it was her shoes because they were VERY thin soled.
NOW, just because i missed the Trek or Treat doesn't mean i didn't still dress the part!
The pictures that are "foggy" are due to the cold and heat...going in and out of my warm breast pocket basically...lol
What a cool shirt! It was TIGHT though...which is why i wore it under the 1k shirt that i had on...did you hear that? 1x shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So i'm signing up for an additional 5k, yes other then the other few i've already been registered for. On December 19th, the night before i fly to Chicago for Christmas, i will be doing the Dallas Jingle Bell Run! I've already recruited another 7+ppl to do it with me. I'm excited about this one!
