Like any good project you need a plan and a solid foundation.
My plan? To lose weight
My foundation? exercise and healthy eating habits
2012 is just about over...only 53 days remaining. BUT i still have a ton packed into those days.
11/22 Dallas Turkey Trot
12/1 Great Santa Run
12/10 Deck the Trails
12/19 Jingle Bell Run
2013 is packed full of HUGE events for me.
2/23 Cowtown 10k (first 10k race i've ever done)
3/16 Dash Down Greenville (St. Patty's Day 5k)
5/25 Heels & Hills 1/2 marathon (first ever i'm doing)
Of course i will do my usual Race for the Cure 5k's in April, June, September and October. I will also do a Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas geared 5k's.
11/8 265.4 (body is finally loosening up after that hike on Sunday)
This evening i will be working on my action plan to train for the half marathon i have coming up in May. I'm extremely nervous about doing it. I want that medal and i know i need to finish it under 4hrs in order to receive it. Right now i just don't think i can do it, but given that i have 6 months to train i should be able to complete it.
