I WALKED my bootay off this weekend! I needed to play "catch up" with my miles for the month. I'm only 7.84 miles behind where i should be at as of last night. I KNOW i can easily complete my 100 walking/running miles for September even if all that i do is add an additional 0.5 mile to each of my walks.
I completed my Turkey Trot tutu last night.
I'll wear a brown shirt to go along with it and a hat of some sort to keep my head warm.
Here's what my closest now looks like:
So that's my Race for the Cure pink/white tutu, my Treat or Trek tutu and now my Turkey Trot tutu. I just need to work on my Deck the Trails/Santa Run tutu and i'm done!
Actually, i take a girls only picture with my sister and nieces and this year i'm making us all Christmas tutu's to wear. The last picture we all wore white shirts, black bottoms and these knee length red and white striped socks with fur along the tops. Very cute! So i'll be making a few more tutu's just for them.
I am on day 3 of no soda-pop! I'm a bit excited about it and i've realized just how easy it was for me to down glass after glass of soda whenever i went out before. A little lemon in my water and i'm good! I won't lie...i like it with some sweet and low for every other refill to change the taste up a bit.
So i'm thinking about signing up for another half marathon in 2014...They have DisneyRuns! And the finisher medals are amazingly cute! Oh, in case you didn't know the ONLY reason i signed up for the half in May is because i want to start collecting medals! SO to add some cute Disney medals would be AWESOME! I would actually LOVE IT if maybe i can get a bunch of Sparkies to join me...they haven't released 2014 because 2013 was just released. BUT i am so there in 2014.
Complete 100 walking/running miles (completed only 45.44 so far)
Lose 10lbs (ummm...gained 4.2lbs :( so far)
Complete 5k under 50 minutes
Starting Weight: 264.8lbs
PINK VIKINGS Starting Weight (9/12): 269lbs
Now here are my more, specific goals from 9/12 through 12/5...
1) I will lose the 24lbs by the end of the 12 weeks
2) I will drink 64oz of water every day
3) I will work out for at least 45 minutes everyday (I'm starting the 100 day challenge again)
4) I will stay within my calorie range 6x a week
5) My waist size will be under 40 inches
6) My thigh size will be less than 21 inches
7) I will fit into a size 18 jeans
8) I will fit into a size 16 yoga pants
9) I will complete a 5k in under 50 minutes
Side Note: I have six opportunities to complete the 5k in under 50 minutes. I have a scheduled 5k on:
1) Race for the Cure Denton 9/29
2) Race for the Cure Dallas 10/20
3) Trek or Treat 5k 10/28
4) SP Virtual Halloween 5k 10/31
5) Dallas Turkey Trot 11/22
6) Deck the Trails 5k 12/1
