So sad to see my indian summer end. Cleaned the pool for the last time yesterday. Packed away the sandals and pulled out the boots today :( This morning my middle child had a hard time going to preschool. She broke my heart crying she didn't want to go. Then this afternoon after picking her up she said she had the best day, go figure? Then I forgot to pick up her older sister at school and thankfully her teacher called to remind me before the bus drove by (since I was waiting for it, lol Duh moment). Nutrition has been great so far today but the night is young. Did some cardio w/my buddies this morning. Gotta go do my ST and hopefully chillax a little. Good night emoticonHow was the past couple days for you emoticon

Went to the pediatrician this am, son has croup :(. Did my ST on the sunny back deck while he and dh napped. Took the girls to a local harvet festival, met up w/some great friends and walked around some cranberry bogs. Enjoyed a nice dinner out w/the family, blew my nutrition on the big ben brownie, it's ok though for now until. Going to try and burn it off tomorrow. Hope you all are having a sparktacular weekemd. It's suppose to be another emoticonday tomorrow emoticon

Had an interesting walk today w/my buddy. We were walking the kids in a couple double strollers when we met man dressed in army gear. He was chatting w/us, & seemed fine until he lit a cigarette then said "oh sorry I didn't notice the kids!" Seriously made us think, what is this guy on???? Totally gave us the eebie jeebies b/c there are no houses on this St and he's telling us to watch out b/c there are wild animals around and that people come flying down across the one lane bridge ahead. Anyways had a nice long walk & thankfully was w/a walking buddy, never know who or what you might run into. Jeez. DH's stuck on a train w/out power. Hopes it comes on soon wo we can have dinner & I can go out on my run w/my buddies. I will feel bad if my friend doesn't get out to run b/c I didn't make it, but I definitely got my fair share of cardio today emoticonJust need to make dinner and do my ST emoticonWish I enjoyed it more. It's not as much fun indoors when it's raining out. Gotta go so much to do so little time not to mention I'm hungry emoticon

Aiyee! I hate it when I encounter oddballs on my walks. Always with the baby in tow, too. Thank goodness for the dog, who forgets that she's a lab and becomes a snarling mass of fur when anyone weird (she's got amazing judgement) comes near "her' baby.

I'm glad you still had a nice walk! And YAY for walking buddies!!

Thinking happy thoughts for your DH and the train... sigh. "Switching problems?"

Had an awesome run in the rain last night! Best time ever. Nothing like the pouing rain to motivate to go faster & get it over with, lol. Knew I would jinx myself if I said I was back to my HS weight emoticongained a lb back overnight but I hadn't finished my ST either. Just goes to show me just how important it is I guess. So I caught up on it this afternoon. I went for a walk this am w/my buddies. Unfortunately one of my friends back went out again emoticonFeel so bad for her. Thought that maybe last time it was b/c we went too far, now I'm wondering if we're just going too fast b/c we barely did a mile when it happened again. Hope she's better soon so we can continue our emoticon emoticonwalks together.

I was just thinking about running/walking in the rain. What are your determinants for doing it versus not doing it?

It was my first time running in the rain. A couple people I know have done it and loved it so I gave it a shot. It was emoticonStarted out as a little sprinkle but was downpouring by the end. The best part is no one can see you sweat emoticon

I'm totally impressed that you ran in the rain- I wish that I had that sort of commitment. I've been doing exercise dvds in the house instead.
