Busy day yesterday. DH got home from his last trip early yesterday & then we enjoyed watching my dd graduate from preschool that afternoon. Took my oldest to a bowling bday party & then both my girls walked in a local relay for life as angels during the lighting ceremony. It was nice listening to the live band beforehand but the bagpipes after the moment of silence w/the angels was truly touching. So happy we did it.

Took my dd to her five year Dr.'s appt. I had rewarded her with going to McD's and letting her play for a little bit before going to the store to get a couple bday gifts for upcoming parties, so happy I ran into my friend who was hosting the party, I was able to verify her son had not already had the gift I'd purchased for him. After meeting with my kids preschool teachers the kiddos enjoyed playing outside. I want to take a nap since I didn't get any sleep last night but the kids refuse to go inside on such a beautiful day and I do not feel comfortable leaving them outside alone for fear of 1 of them drowning. Forgot to pick up my daughters dance DVD, was distracted with what had happened.

Is so happy there is no more preschool or rest time for my daughter. I was heartbroken to hear from my preschooler that today @ school she'd had a bad day. A boy touched her in the privates & made her touch him during rest time. I asked her why she didn't stop him. She said b/c he kept doing it & told her to keep touching his privates even though she didn't want to. When I asked her what were the teachers doing she said they were eating lunch. I told her if it ever happens again she needs to tell him to stop & to tell the teacher next time. I feel so emoticonfor her & mad that I couldn't be their to protect her. What would you do? Should I say something to the school or his mother?

I so appreciate this advice and hugs. I did tell the owner and she told their teachers and spoke with his parents. Tragically he had it happen to him from another child in the neighborhood in the past and has been going to counseling. I am so thankful my daughter told me. Pray with me that this horrible cycle ends now and that this doesn't ever happen again. They are too young to be learning this.n emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I would definatly say something to the school and the mother! I would be livid. I will tell you that it happened to my daughter, right here in her own home. My sister-in-law was visiting with her kids (3 boys at the time) one of which is the same age as my daughter. They were just 2 and playing quietly. We went into the livingroom, were they were playing and found them playing under a blanket, didn't think nothing of it. Later, after they left, my daughter came to me and told me that her cousin touched her. I asked her were and she pointed. I called his mother and she just laughed about it. Thought it was funny. Nothing funny about that. If you don't do anything about it, chances are that he will continue to do things like that. Big hugs to you and your daughter!

Looking forward to dh getting home from over a week long trip to CA. It was actually nicer weather wise here than @ Mt. Shasta were it was in the 50's. It will be nice to see him before he leaves again. This weather puts me in the best mood. Need to get moving, have a great day!
