Time to Clean, Organize and Straighten the Garage ! !

Monday, September 15, 2014

Last week I began working in our Garage. A large job. Accumulations of items there is almost overwhelming. I really do hate clutter and so does my daughter. Much of her stuff that seems to be in her way, she will place items and clothing she no longer wears out in the garage. This week is my time to try to give many, of our not needed thing, to those people that can use what is out there. It has been building up taking up our space over time. I might even have a few thing to sale in my Oldest daughter and Grand daughters Yard Sale next week. emoticon I am hoping to complete the Cleaning today.

Waiting all year for my Night Blooming Narcissia to Bloom

Wednesday, September 03, 2014

Finally tonight my Night Blooming Narcissia finally opened up to show me the Beautiful God Given Blossom. This plant isn't very much to look at and is a very unusual. It only has a couple times a year when it blooms. This is the beginning of the blossom !

This is a photo after is open and shows it Beauty, it is such a treat to finally see it. The Blossom only stays open during the night and it closes back up during the day. It does this about three night, then dries up and falls off. I took this just after it opened last night about
2 am in the morning of Sept.3rd.

The Beautiful Mount Shasta

Saturday, August 30, 2014

Last week we returned from a very short trip to Canada, It was a much needed trip. I will spare you all the stressful week that we were in at the time, but we my oldest daughter and I did enjoy seeing the very Beautiful Shasta Mountain as we were driving back home to Sacramento County California. Here is what it looks like in August 2014. Seeing this beauty brings to our thoughts about how lucky we are to live in such a Beautiful Country, and how Thankful we are to God to be living here.

Happy 4th of July to our Country

Friday, July 04, 2014

I hope that you all have a wonderful safe day. I went to see my mother today. The first time in about 8 years. She is 97 years old and in a care home here in Texas. Not doing very well, as a few months ago she fell and broke her spine and her pelvic bones. We hope to see her while we are here visiting. She did remember me, my hubby and daughter. Thanks for all your prayers during this difficult time in all our lives.

God Blesz you Virginia for having made that trip to see mom....
Most have been very moving that despite her dementia & 8 years she still remembers everyone..,Mat The Lord make it easy for her as well as you'll.

As we get on in age, there are times we can't express our feelings, but being able to see our children healthy & happy is very satisfying.... It breaks my heart when I see my daughter who is 69, who is suffering from Vertigo & severe arthritis struggling to move...Her DGDIL-bless the child-is her chief care giver now... Helping her walk, bringing her to visit us, taking her to church everything..., for us mothers our children will always be kids. God I get emotional when I read abou mothers & daughters...,

Have a great summer break & enjoy mom

Last Words

Saturday, June 21, 2014

On Tuesday morning June 18 we visited my sweet mother-in-law, Lucille at her care home, She had been having good day and bad days. She was very tired of battling to get well with the injuries on both arms and legs, having pain in her right forearm and it seemed somewhat swollen. She couldn't sip on the straws anymore, so I gave her strawberry milk and water from the straw, that she enjoyed. We knew she was not going to be here very long. My DH talk to her about Heaven and that she didn't have to stay here, and when she got there to give hugs to Jesus, her hubby and our 3 daughters, her parents, other family and friends there, Hi from us. She was tired, had lived a long life at 105. When we were leaving her, this is what she said in a large clear voice, with one hand up as waving,

"Tell Everyone Goodbye here, Cause I'm Leaving"

She passed away at 12:30 am on June 20,2014

Thank You all so much for your Prayers, Love and Concern, that you have shown during this hard time, saying goodbye for a while to our loved one.

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes. We went to the funeral home today, and Lucille looked very much at peace. My daughter Karen was a little afraid, of what to expect, but after reassurance, was OK.
