Nice cup of tea is a good idea. WTG on your weight loss. I agree get back to tracking. I know it helps me greatly keeping on track and watching what I eat. I plan my day our in advance and then just stick to the plan. I do allow myself a little treat at night but its all within my calories and nutrients.
I know you can do this you have done so well. It is not easy and takes a lot of determination and perseverance to reach our goal and be healthier and lose weight. You have shown you know how to do it with losing 28 lbs, I know you will find your way back.
Hugs and smiles

Need a new start.!!!!

Saturday, March 03, 2012

I am ready to begin again. It has been a while since I have been on here. Now I am ready to change my evil ways of eating an really get down to business of trying harder to lose weight. Really no major reason for the change. Just feel like it is time to begin again. It will take me a while to get back in the swing of it. I may not be on here everyday an my excerise program will be slow I am sure. But will be glad to have your support again. And your many prayers that I will do this. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am slowly making progress, but it can be disappointing .

Slow progress is better than no progress. You will get there if you persevere and don't let it get you down. Easy to say but hard to do! Good luck and Happy Easter Monday. emoticon emoticon

I wish my body would be more co-operative too! I'm 50 in a few short days and this weight loss is taking what seems and eternity for me. I've been with Sparks for over 2 years and have lost but not nearly as much or as quickly as I would like to.
I'm by no means discouraged about it because at least I am losing and feeling great in mind body and spirit. Everybody loses differently and at the end of the day and I lay down my head I'm still OK. And that's what matters most. So hang in there. Keep a positive attitude, and that determination. It will happen.

Yes, it is discouraging when others are making fast progress. BUT, any progress at all is GOOD, and at least the slower it comes off the less likely it will return!

Your right it can be. You just have to remember that it is still progress, even if it takes a little longer than you hoped it would. emoticon

New Start

Thursday, December 23, 2010

I know we are in the middle of the Holidays but I am going to start again. I really started at Thanksgiving an since then I have lost 8 lbs. So I am confident that I can get through Christmas an New Year's. I just have to keep thinking about what I want to happen in the future health wise an it is to lose weight an get myself healthy. I have some health issues that I know will try to deter me but I am determined that Iwill be the winner. I know I really need to get ahold of myself an take responsibility for my eating an what is best for me in the long run. I am hoping with the help of my friends here an God that I can do this. I know I am worth it an will be a much healther person in the long run. I know it will not happen overnight it will take a long time but in the months to come I will be able to see the difference an will be much stronger an happier. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticonMerry Christmas to all.

Glad u made a new start. I've been upset that Jack LaLanne passed away at 96 as he was such a sharp man and I so admired him. He taught us all that HEALTH IS WEALTH. I know he was angry about dying since he still had so much work left to do. I read he got a Respiratory Infection that turned into Pneumonia. My Grandfather died at 92 from just the same thing in February 1957.

Our world

Sunday, June 20, 2010

The world is your mirror an your mind is a magnet. What you perceive in this world is largely a refelection of your own attitudes an beliefs. Life will give you what you attract with your thoughts, think, act an talk negatively and your world will be negative. Think an act an talk with enthusiasm and you will attract positive results.
Micheal Le Beuf

Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.
Art Linkletter

There is little difference in people but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.
W. Clement Stone

Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it, for that determines our success or failure. The way you think about a fact may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. You are overcome by the fact because you think you are.
Norman Vicent Peal.

Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it. Lou Holtz
