Well Let's see I've learned that as soon as I feel anything start to clog up or slow down going down. I need to stop eating , relax ( as much as possible) and either straighten up even more then what I am or stand . Walk around , put arms up , take a deep breath in as I raise my arms and out as I lower my arms.
I do this kind of chest rub, like stretching my skin . I rub my neck , chest .
Try to burp , if I can.
I have only threw up like 1 time and not alot. Mostly I might get some salva come up and if I do I spit it out.
I try to listen to my band . In the morning I have hot tea , or Plain Oatmeal with spices ect. But no raisins ect cause I notice it's harder to get down. And I notice if I don't drink enough water things don't go down as smooth. I too have found gravy , ketchup . things like that to be my friend ...
Also Yogurt I can have that in the morningAnd I can usually put some Grape Nuts in it for more protein and fiber.
Mostly no matter what ur doing or where u r , if u just don't feel right while eating STOP!!!
Drinking water doesn't really do much for me when I 'm getting my food to go down.
I'm sure I'll learn even more , it seems like the band changes as I do.
I love my band cause it helps me stay in check with myself.
