The HOA is bugging the hell out of me AGAIN.

for those who have read my previous rants with our home owners association, I need to rant again.

Due to having to spend lots of unplanned money to finish up our sunroom, we did not have enough to pay the 700.00 for the HOA fee due in late Jan. I paid part of it and got an extension until May 31. They granted it and sent us love notes for other issues like the ladder lying in the backyard.

than came APril 21 and hubby was laid off sending to use my saved moniney for the headhunter. Ok.. around May 8, note came from the HOA saying pay or have a lien placed on the house.. 10 days went by got another one... 3 days ago another one yet even more strongly written.. FINE.. I borrowed the money from our son figuring they would be harder o us that the state for the income tax money we owed them (have not gotten a bill from them yet but at least they will be easier on us that the HOA)

so the 500.00 was paid on wed. today in the mail got an envelope figuring it was a receipt saying we were paid up.. NOPE

Now they want us to remove and paint our shutters within the next 7 days. SCREW tHEm.. Hubby and I am just removing them.. Shutters are not mandatory...

what gets me is that the house across from us stilll not only has not paid their HOA or property tax fees but they get to use the pool and other things.. Yes this is the same house tey are running drugs out of and no one will do anything about.

I am so praying that hubby gets the job overseas so we can get out of here.

With that said for the month of May (which is not quite over) I have finished knitting three sweaters and started on a fourth last night.. Granted they are not sewn up, all the knitting that has to be done, is done..

Day started out with 10 valves of blood being tested for 20 different things..

then off to the pharmacy and post office to mail pictures to my inlaws and aunt of my son grauduating from law school.

home finally to go with the graduate to the mall to pick up clothes for a friend who is flyibng in from KS to Atlanta tomorrow for a jobs interview. my son is also networking with two law firms tomorrow and then the guys are staying in Atlanta until saturday afternoon to help our son study for the bar exam.

we stayed out the house long enough so that hubby had peace why.en he had his second interview with amazon today,,, after the interview he got a one line email saying thanks but they were not intereted. af the same time another email came from a headhunter saying a corporation in Atlanta was interested in him.. Yep I know,,, the amazon job was just not meant to be and God has a better plan for him.

his big headhunter called a few minutes to check out how thing went this week... she has also sent his resume out to lots of places

For whatever reason, yesterday I sent several emails to my husband's old boss (the one who did not want him terminated) We went back and forth with a few things and he let me know there was still more money coming to him which is a good thing.

there is also a supplemental retirement policy which they are trying not to have to pay out. If you are terminated for cause(theft, fire, stealing clients etc) or you voluntaryily quit within 120 months you get nothing. However there is another category that if you are terhe minated for the convience of the company, you will get a percentage. as several of us understand, that is what happened in their meeting and because they got him to sign a letter saying he resgned after that meeting, they do not want to pay out...

So when our son, the lawyer comes in today, he is taking a copy and going over it with a friend who is in employment law. basically tried of getting screwed.

Yesterday hubby did have his first face to face interview with a company locally and they want to bring him back next week for another interview. tomorrow he has another phone interview with amazon.com and from there they set up the face to face interview.

I am watching commercials for all these new reality shows dealig with obses people.

Monday night it is extreme makeovers weight loss which follows a person for one year and a team works with them for a complete year.

Lifetime has a show with couples trying to get into swimsuits

there are two others which I forgot but the theme is all the same.
