today is one of those days that the weather is going to change from the 80's and sunny to thunderstorms tonight and temps dropping 30 degrees.

I am so stressed out and tired that honestly sure which way I am going.

starting knitting a draped jacket and the damn instructions are wrong. after doing the increases it comes out 23 stitches short and then the final section, the directions are so wrong that you get confused trying to figure it out... so now going to the publisher and seeing if they corrected it and if now answers, just changing patterns.

I made the copies of the sunroom pictures to send to the board members with a note saying i have done everything they wanted...now back off and leave me alone.

Yesterday after I posted my blog, it just continued with the stress and stuff.

I got phone calls last night at 9 and then 945 from the newest HOA president and honestly felt he was just a condesending person who was going to stitck up with the management compay anyway.

told him I threw my arms up and called the contractor back and asked him to push sealing the holes on my brick.

So this morning, the ladders were removed and now all that is out there are our grilling things and a pile of bricks that I tried to camflouge under a bush. so if they come back at me with any ..... I am really going off on them.

next week I am going to get someone to professionally wash my deck and then we can stain it and move our grill back on it.

So right now, I am in the midst of a sleep depreviation headache and have to go to the doctors office for a second blood draw later this afternoon. , When I get back I am considering just taking a long hot bath and having a drink and passing out.. RIGHT>.. that never happens to me.

Today I started spring cleaning in my office. that is the place where all my yarn and knitting related stuffs ends up.

In the midst orf my cleaning the HOA finally called me back saying they were wrong... it was not my front yard but my rear yard. They wanted the ladders moved from the grass. Told them it would when the contractor finished some work on the roofline.

then I called my neightbor who suggested I call a member of the board. Did that and that was a mistake. She suggested strongly I move the ladders myself until the contractor was ready to work on the roof.

So figured it was easier to just call the contractor and ask him to please do the roof tomorrow and let's get the ladders and piece of wood out of the yard... next week then I will arrange to have the deck professionally cleaned and then we can have it stained and move the grill up on the deck.. any project I do outside from now on is not going to be approved by the HOA... it will just be done. heaven only knows how many others just do it.

oh boy. there are so many times I am jealous of people who live in suburbia and have sidewalks etc, but times and stories like yours make me thrilled to live out in the country with 10 acres and no one to tell me what I can or can't have in my yard! I'm so passive agressive I think I would move that ladder into my front yard and hang flower baskets off of it! Report Inappropriate Comment

first day of spring

sleep is something that is still precious to me and honestly spending the night tossing and turning for several nights is killing me...

this morning, I figured it was easier to get up and get going rather than stay in my bed and ponder things.

so got up, walked the dog, headed to home depot, lowes, ups store, got a burger, stopped and got beer for hubby. book store, crafts store, and then the mall, before going to the grocery store.

The patio furniture I purchased on sale 10 days ago, is on sale again and a lower price so I had to get price adjustments and then order the sofa. of course that is now going to take 3 weeks to come in

then got lucky and with 25.00 of coupons, purchased a jacked and shirt on sale for 1.06. that was the tax.

So now home and my neighbor told me that she spoke to the local police and most likely they will be setting up a surveillance in our area to check out the house with the drugs.

(I would be putting this house up for sale (perhaps even give it to someone who needs a place) and get out of this subdivision

After writing yesterday's blog, I did calm down, just a little bit..

Never got a call back from the management company. I called them at 1224 pm and since it was Friday, they closed at 1 pm.. nope they did not call me back.

Since then several neighbors have said this is now harassment with us since they do not come out to look at the house and nor do they get things right.

A friend came over last night and we got the chairs put together in the sunroom.... we were talking about my neighbors across the street from me and how this week, they have locked a 6 month old in the car, then next day went around to houses asking for a blow torch and then yesterday asking for propane tank as they were going to blow glass in the house. lots of activity there, especially at night when the door bell rings, the light changes color. yes they are running drugs and no the police will not do anything without probable cause.

so today I am just making a list of all the things I want to accomplish during spring cleaning.
tomorrow running errands and then back to get comfy and finish knitting the sweater I started on Tuesday night. It will be finished tomorrow for sure.

It always seems incredible when someone can be harassed, victimized and have their life made almost unbearable - legally - when people like that continue to get away with such obviously illegal things. I too have the same problem - police know what's happening, but say they can't do anything without proof. Maddening, really is. Report Inappropriate Comment
