After I posted my blog yesterday, I had a major panic attack.
our youngest called to say that his brother had already left and was driving back to South Carolina from North carolina I was really upset as I had told friends he was staying with that the road conditions were really hazardous and said either to stay with them or is brother for a few more days. Even called his girlfriend to ask her to get him to turn around, but he just wanted to get back home. I kept in touch with him a few times along the way. The normally one hour trip from Gaffney to our house exit (50miles) took 90 minutes. By 830 he called with his good news, bad news call, which scares the crap out of me. Then he said, good news is that I just turned onto our block, bad news is that I can't get up the icy incline. So hubby and I get coats on , grab shovels and held down to assist him. After lots of trying, I) suggested that if we get the car turned slightly we can leave it in the neighbors driveway overnght (neighbor is in Norway)
That was accomplished and we walked up to the house.
This morning hubby attempted to get to work. He got out the subdivision and down about 3 miles and then the ice became worse. Cars were in ditches and waiting for tow trucks. So I was in shock when I saw him pull into the driveway. So today he has taken over our bedroom as his office
I managed to get some decent workouts between dvd's, shoveling snow and walking in it.
Good news is that I have lost 8 pounds since I startd the HCG last Tues. Considering I gaied 4 pounds on day 4 and then lost them along with a few more, I am doing great pants are getting looser in the thigh area.
