What a day
All I was supposed to do this morning was run to my doctors office for a weigh in and measurements, drop precriptions off at the compoudinn pharmacy and then CVS, then back home to work on a sweater and a few other things.
Instead, I had one trip to the compounding pharmacy, going next door to Dr C's office where the receiptionish who always measures me to loosely as well as can't get my weight right assisted me. Then back to the compounding pharmacy where I was told it would be another 45 minutes as he had to make up the meds for me. So I went to CVS and was told then I would be back in 30 minutes so I could go to Kmart and Staples. Kmart, took 3 minutes, staples a bit longer, but i got back to CVS 45 minutes later and the drugs were not ready. As I waited, my contractor called and needed me to meet him at home depot for some supplies. So drive to the opposite side of the city. Stayed there about 15 minutes, back to CVS where we could not get one drug to go through our insurance. Turned out it was because it had to be for 90 day supply and the insulinstripes were only for 50 days. so they had to override the system,. work it for 90 days giving hubby an extra 10 days and it went through.
So then back to the compounding pharmacy and finally home. Of course by the time I got in sparks was having issues and I was given the points BUT they did not show up in the totals either daily or for the month.
I spent the afternoon finishing laundry, working out and getting ready mentally for seeing the nephrologist in the moring. I really dislike that man. we are still looking for another doctor I can see who makes me feel like a person and really knows more about adrenal issues than this guy does.
