The Diet Center informed me today that they cannot allow me to safely lose any more weight. They said their computer will not allow me to go down any further than 124 pounds, given my bone structure and BMI calculations. They are going to take my picture on Friday, and start my 6 week Stabalization process which intails a new book of menus. After 6 weeks, I will begin their Maintenence Program which guarantees that I will maintain that weight for 1 year. This is included in the sign-up fees.
Altogether, it will have been 20-21 months for 80 pounds of permanent & safe weight removal, and diet and exercise rehabilitation. : ) criss

My body has its own mind, very different from mine. I tell it to loose inches around its middle, but, oh no, instead it looses inches around the chest and arms!
Knowing that crunches won't remove the middle fat, I ask it by doing extra minutes on the eliptical, pushing 600 to 1000 calories away, but, the body answers, no way!
How do I convince this body of mine to cooperate with the rest? I'm getting tired of this fight, but there's no choice until I end up the ultimate winner!

I've dropped 128 inches, and from 212 to 124 pounds, in 9 months...and am not done yet~! It's not easy at any stage, but I know it can be done, because it's possible! My new secret weapon is yogurt. I hate yogurt, but caught the cold/flu, and everything tasted like vinegar, so to relieve my hunger pains, I downed a few teaspoons of yogurt every couple of hours, and ended up losing 5 lbs in 2 weeks! I think it kept me from thinking about sugary chocolatey junk, and I kept my focus on teas, soups and healthy choices. Hope this helps.... criss

I felt Liberated and Free for a moment in time. Yesterday, May 19th, 2008, I ran 25 yards for the FIRST time in 4 years!
The doctors said I would never be able to go for walks again, let alone RUN! Today I'm taking massive amounts of Ibuprophen to stifle the pain, but it is a happy pain to know I can lift my foot off the ground.
Now I will baby the thing back to relative painlessness, and I hope to try it again next week!
