Yes, I will be doing it for 30 days, but on alternate days, not 30 consecutive days.
And my official excuse is, I am 26 days shy of my 55th birthday. So there!

Week Two Complete

Monday, December 29, 2008

Just completed week two on SparkPeople and still loving it! emoticon
Weigh in is tonight and I can't wait to post my progress however little it might be. I am proud of myself because I have made a change in my life and am on a mission to become healthy, fit and toned, one "random act of fitness" at a time.
Just keep on "Sparking!" emoticon

Love the positive attitude you have here. No progress is too small. If your scale is going down, then you are doing something right. Keep up the great work.

I have completed my first week on SparkPeople.com and it is already changing my life. My favorite is Random Acts of Fitness. I have incorporated this into my life and I can already feel a difference. I did not track everything I ate or all of the random acts of fitness I did, but that does not matter. Every day is a chance to start again and I thank God for that chance. emoticon

Congratulations on making the commitment of change! Sounds like you are off to a great start by making some gradual changes and not making huge, unrealistic demands on yourself. Slow and steady will get you where you want to be. I have been on my journey since April--have lost 42 pounds--but still find it difficult to track. If you have a keen awareness of what you are putting in your mouth and of your energy expenditure you can be successful without tracking but for about the first four months I did track faithfully. Find out what works for you and and your lifestyle and stick with it.
