As some of you know this is my rest week between completing P90X Plus and starting P90X2. Rest week to me is pretty much staying away from weights. Today was P90X Yoga X day. For those of you that have been around SP for a while know that I LOVE Yoga X and HIGHLY encourage it.
I experienced one of those workouts where you are focused and in the zone and everything is going perfect. Form was right on and I had all the energy in the world. I was disappointed in myself on Monday for my results from P90X Plus. I decided to get back on track and do what I know to do. Logging all my nutrition and making sure I am on track with that. No more falling into temptations. When I am doing what I am supposed to do, I can see and feel the difference in my body. That is a HUGE motivator for me! I have a goal to achieve and I intend on making it this year!
During Tony Horton's Beachbody Coach video conference call yesterday, he gave his opinion on the difference between P90X2 and Beast. He said something to the fact of, "do you want to look strong or be strong?" I have been struggling for a while on deciding really what my goals really are. During that video conference I decided that I wanted to be strong. Not just look strong. I want to be healthy and live a healthy life.
Changing subjects here, for those of you that are doing workout programs like P90X, Insanity, and Chaleane Xtreme, be aware that there will be some days you will feel stronger and some days will not be so good. Don't be so hard on yourself. For example, in P90X, you are tearing down your muscles for 6 days a week for 3 weeks before you get a rest week. Don't feel bad if your 3rd week seems like it is worse than your first week. Remember your muscles are tired and need time to recover. If you need a self motivator, do the workout after you have rested for a couple days and you will see how far you have come along.
Keep on pushing play!!!
