I Feel So Much Better Already & I'm Happy!! Next Week Working On Drinking My Water & Getting Better Control Of My Calorie Count Which is 1200!!

Well today was a really learning experience for me. One of my friends Candice went grocery shopping with me today and we decided that we were going to start a 1200 calorie diet and workout at least 4 days a week...WoW!! So while we were in the store she was like let me show you how much sodium and calories basically show you how to really read the nutrition fact info.
Well, Laaaawwwwwwddddd...I thought I was smart with looking at this stuff but child I didn't know nothing OKAY!! LOL....but I thank God for allowing my girl Candice open my eyes to how much sodium I was taking in....Its Amazing!!
My shopping have offically changed because I can say I can now see!! People was looking at us like she much be a nutritionist or she just a big girl trying to lose weight...but hey i didn't care because this is benefiting me.
I'll keep ya'll posted on my first week of this 1200 calorie & 4 day a week workout plan!!

    Kudos to Candice! And to you, too. Here's a shopping tip - try to only shop the perimeter of the store. God didn't put that much sodium in natural foods. It's the people that package it all so it will stay "fresh". Good luck with your weight loss goals!

Gotta Start Over...But Am I Truly Ready?!?

Well Ya'll.... I'm starting over on March 3rd because these past two months I have to say I really didn't do anything. I seen myself going down that same path that I've been before get motivated for a week or two and than back to saying forget it. I basically haven't been inspired to do anything anymore.... of course in the beginning of the year everyone does the same thing and of course I was on the band wagon!! But for the past couple of days I've been really disappointed in myself!! So I decided that I NEED to start over fresh and for the next couple of days before March 3rd I will be getting myself together to inspire myself to get myself together. I've been looking all over trying to find something to believe in and it was in front of me all this time and thats ME...finally to believe in myself that i can finally finish something that i start. Which is getting myself together.

So pray for me as I pray for you...I need to Inspire & Motivate Myself!!

    Congrats to you for realizing that you are going down the same path. You are ready for it. Stay motivated and keep thinking about your goals. There will be some days you feel you've fell off but just dust it off and start again.

Today Was A Good Day!

Yes I can say that today was a good day....I started off good this morning with eating 200 calories but I went bad cause I ate some candy...I ate spaghetti bread & salad for lunch....I did however drink 78oz of water...but one soda....which is great because I would have 2 or more. The fab part is that I went to the GYM & I got my Workout On Okay!!
20 mins -Treadmill
10 mins -Elipitcal
10mins -Bike
10mins -Sauna
I'm using my one week free pass at LA Fitness to back into the swing of working out again. And I Love It....I'm not trying to promote LA Fitness but they have everything that I need and no contract!! But of course you have to pay a registration fee which is high and right now I can't afford it!! So once my week is over on Monday my apartment complex have a gym so I'll use that until I can afford an extra bill. Plus you can pay like $15/day if you want to come in and play raquetball or a class. So I will be doing that like every two weeks.

But really ya'll I feel Fab....Plus my friend is working out with me!!
I'm on my way....

Not Good...

Well let me tell you I was ready for the change but my body wasn'!!
Last Monday went to the gym for 45mins -after the gym I got sick Tuesday comes ready for the gym 15mins -got sick in the gym went home laid down Wednesday at 4am I'm in the bathroom head first and there every hour on the hour until my fiance brought me to the ER. Per doctor no working out the rest of the week cause of illness unknown. Go to the gym on Monday same thing happens again ...why you ask I dunno but I have a Doctors appt. on you have a clue because I don't!! But seriously I'm really pissed off because I'm ready but the body is on its on calender..hopefully my doctor can tell me something?!?

    You're doing the right thing by checking with your doctor, until then rest and focus on eating right. Hopefully you're taking in enough calories and not exercising too hard that causes these symptoms. Take a multivitamin and I would add some vitamin c too. But follow the advice of your doctor before doing anything

    Working out taxes your body....and boy do we know it when we get back on that horse after having been off it for a while! If I were going to guess I'd say that you picked up some bug (sounds like the one going around here right now!) and working out was overexerting yourself and made your symptoms worse. You were feeling better but you weren't REALLY better, you were on the mend, and when you worked out again once again it was overexerting your body in it's weakened state and brought the symptoms back on.
Your doctor will probably recommend that you give yourself a full week AFTER feeling better to fully recover from this bug before working out. Instead of a gym, when you feel better that first week maybe just go for a walk around your neighborhood. Dressed for the weather, of course! The fresh air will help you as long as you dress warmly. Chicken soup really does help and get plenty of fluids!!
