I was having the hang of this fasting but I have to have lunch today.
This the end of work for our summer students and of course we have to feed them as good send off and thanking them for their time in the lab.
I am off fasting for today.
I will resume on Saturday as tomorrow is parade day and I am meeting my daughter for a walk and lunch. (Messed myself up).
What did I do yesterday: I went on a shopping spree: I think I am getting addicted to work out tapes, so I bought two yesterday both Kathy Smith's. The indoor walking and matrix work out? I tried in door walking this morning, well it is a touch work out with all weight and foot work. I was sweating by 10 min. I only did the first 26 min routine. Any way it was a good change from Leslie's DVDs. I will probably go for a long walk later today to make it up for short work out.
Take care of your selves, I am off to the lab and to feed the troops.

I am sure I off track this week and the scale will tell.
I was doing fine but we went out yesterday for lunch and I thought I made a good choice in the Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich. As I am not eating any salt in all the meals, the salt in that chicken came close to the recommended amount. Even though I watched my portions at dinner I was over my calorie limit by 400 cal.
Tonight we will be eating on the run again as we are driving to Halifax so if the scale move down a little tomorrow, well these are my excuses. And you all know they are just excuse, I just blew it.
Next week as i mentioned somewhere else I will be fasting (Just not eating during daylight) so I will have to plan my meals careful so that I am not putting my healthy in danger.
My plan is to exercise around 5;30 am and again after dinner
Milk, cereal, fruit and egg whites or whole eggs,vegetable soup and 2 cups of water (400 cal).
Evening Meals: I will break the fast with a light snack of yogurt and nuts and water around 6:00 pm and then go for a walk with my daughter. Then dinner will be pasta or brown rice, a protein (meat, beans or fish) cooked vegetable (1 serving) and small salad of mixed greens, skim milk or unsweetened soy beverages and end with a small fruit salad before bed and water. I will be taking my multivitamins. I think will be able to get in 800 calories.
I have an option of stopping any time If I find that my body is not happy about all that change. My friend will not mind, she appreciates the support even if it is one day.
As we go int the second half of this challenge, I hope you are getting the hang of it and putting it all together. I am realizing that i get out as much as i put in. So this net week I am going to do my best to stay on track and then ripe the benefits.
