Day 9--Before PicsÉYIKES!!!

I know that we all must start somewhere in order to get anywhere, but yikes! I hate the cold, hard reality of being a big girl. I weighed in this morning at 170.8lbs. Now mind you, I ended my first pregnancy at 184lbs and my second pregnancy just over 200lbs. And now here I am. (my son from my second pregnancy is now 6yrs old)

I love to eat, but I have learned how to control my portions. I know how to tame my cravings and how to distract myself from "hunger" to wait for real hunger. Now, I just need to push the water, hold off on the soda and get busy! My FitBit has been VERY helpful and I'm involving my family on my journey. They're used to seeing me go up and down the stairs a few extra times. They're also getting used to me walking back and forth and walking in place while watching tv so I can get my steps in for the day.

I have a good attitude and I want to keep it that way. I appreciate my accountability partners and I'm always looking to add to them! I hope everyone is doing well!

    I've seen that stomach in my mirror - mine was the same. I've been dieting and exercising since September and things have improved dramatically.

    I am positive you are making good choices and we all start somewhere. Feel free to check out my pictures of where I started. I recently wrote a blog check it out. You are making a good choice for the beginning of the year. You can do this and Leslie and I are great friends! Not! I love it when it's too cold, icy, windy but I always prefer to walk outside but not lately. Feel free to add me as a friend.

Day 1--Back on Track and it feels good!

Day 1:

Woke up and began moving right away. Worked on the house, went out with a friend, came home and continued moving around the house and have been going out of my way to get steps in. Yes it'll take me a bit to get used to being active again, but I feel positive that it'll all come back to me quickly.

Now that I am grasping life by the horns and steering down the right path, I can't wait to see myself changing. I hope to make some great friends along the way.
