In this fast-paced world, life can be difficult and pressures intense. As those pressures build, you may tend to focus so intently on your obligations that you lose sight, however temporarily, of your spiritual and emotional needs. (That's one reason a regular daily quiet time is so important-it offers a badly needed dose of perspective.)
Even when the demands of life are great, never forget that you have been entrusted with a profound responsibility: the responsibility of contributing to your family's emotional and spiritual well-being. It's a big job, but with God's help, you're up to the task.
Let the hugs begin!


Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it,
whoever you are, you need it.

I was inspired to write this blog today;
One day a couple of month's back, since I've been with SparkPeople, I wrote the blog "Burning The Midnight Oil." I was behind and trying to catch up here at Spark, with my thank you replies and more. Two Dear Leaders, of one of my teams replied and told me don't let myself get, burned out and it's best to prioritize my time. If they read this blog today, they might remember telling me this. I took that message to heart, because I know I've been very busy lately, who isn't? right!
I,m behind once again, but now I've set a time limit for myself to give myself, at least 2 hours with SP in the morning, and at least 2 hours with SP in the evening This way I stay motivated It's better to be a little behind, than to be a lot burned out


Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
ECCLESIASTES 12:13

God knows how busy your life is. As you move from task to task, remember to hold on to the golden cord that connects you to Him. He's always there regardless, but the cord reminds you that He is. It keeps the conversation going being the two of you, and His love, joy, and peace flowing to you throughout your day. God should be your first priority because it is through His wisdom and strength that you accomplish the others.

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, we think of how they have followed in the footsteps of your son , our Savior, Jesus Christ. Please hold our service men and women in your strong arms. Cover them with your sheltering grace and presence as they stand in the gap for our protection.

We also remember the families of our troops, and ask for your unique blessings to fill their homes and your peace, provision and strength to fill their lives.

May the members of our armed forces be filled with courage to face each day and may they trust in the Lord's mighty power to accomplish each task. Let our military brothers and sisters feel our love and support.

In the name of Jesus. Amen.

A little talk with Jesus

This is Mom...

Beautiful things in this life

There's just one MOTHER DEAR.

My Mom, was in the hospital, yesterday all day. She went in early Thursday morning. She's unable to walk or move on her own. She did not have a stroke, Thank God. The hospital released her. She was living by herself at 83years old (she's still independent) But now she's at my sisters house, until she gets better. I will be spending all day tomorrow Saturday & Sunday with her.
I'll write when I return.
