A foolish man will tell a woman to stop talking, a very wise man will tell a woman that she is very beautiful when her lips are closed.

ok, high school plays aren't that bad.

Monday, June 06, 2011

Yesterday I was kinda dragged to a high school play and I really didn't want to be there, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The play was Into The Woods, which I have seen many times before and with the original Broadway cast, so that was a big reason I didn't expect to be all that impressed by the play that I was going to see. It wasn't as actually pretty good, but could have been better, not just from the actors, but the director was not on top of her game. Knowing the woman like I do, I'm not really surprised, she can't really hold her weight as anything and that is why she is where and what she is. Not a bad afternoon, a good way to relax after the hectic morning and we did get to see our friends son in his last play before he goes off to college. can't wait to see what the rest of today will bring other than being pooped from donating blood. Who knows, just plan to keep on sparking.

My brothers and I were always involved in High School Musicals.
I played Mammy Yoakum in Li'l Abner, a nun in Sound of Music,
and an extra little girl (in a pinafore and bloomers) in the Music Man! No Sondheim.
It sounds like the director hasn't won any points in your book!
Glad you were supportive of the young man in the play, though!
