Down 13 pounds so far in five weeks.

I lost another pound so slow and steady it goes. I was hoping for two but will take the one for now. I hope to have it most of the way gone by the end of summer and learn to maintain from there. I still have a journey ahead of me but I'll get there. Really love adding Insanity back into my workout routines. I love turbo fire but it seems so slow now. I hope to get my way back to it. Hoping to continue to get my results.

    Thanks, I know my trainer doesn't think I've lost enough but I think being 45 and losing is pretty awesome!

I am down another pound

It does take time and a lot of planning but it's all falling into place. I now pack my lunch the evening before and that is helping me have more time in the am to get chores done and fitness in before work. I actually stayed on track being out of town last week and stuck to my plan, I might not lose every week but if I keep going down it's worth it.

No loss last week boo hiss boo

We did go racing and I had a lot of stress to go with it, but I didn't gain either so I'll take that as a victory. I'm hoping to get the loss this week and keep moving downward as the weeks go by. I packed plenty of healthy snacks and fruit and grabbed that when things weren't going so great with the car. Next time it will be a lot better. I joined my kettlebell class for the month of June and will weight my options for July, she is upping the rate by 10.00 dollars which may a bit too much but well worth it if she adds a couple more classes. I'm all for more opportunity to work out.

Okay I'm into the middle of week three of my new weight loss journey

I am doing really well on the structured eating plan and only have issues on the weekends when I don't have everything planned, however I'm learning to plan ahead. I know after a while this will just be second nature and I can keep this going till I hit goal. Eating the protein is a lot harder then you think but it does make you feel full a lot longer and I like having a variety of things to chose from. The reduction in carbs and processed junk has been a lot easier then I expected, I'm still reading a lot of labels but I'm learning what I can have and what the carb counts are. It does make a difference. I love the new tracker makes it a lot easier to get everything logged. I know a couple things are not exactly what I'm doing but just having everything there helps me keep a better track of what I'm doing. I'm getting there and look forward to reaching goal, most likely by the end of summer but then I have the task of learning to maintain. Kettlebell class has really helped me a lot with building muscle and my cardio that I have continued with the practice and hope to keep going for a long time. I love the live classes and being part of them. I'll keep checking in and listing my progress, yes I'm making progress and it feels great.

What I plan to achieve

I am on a mission to lose 10% of what I weight right now in 13 weeks, I think this is doable and I really need to push for this. I'm tired of putting in all the work and not seeing the loss. I will practice portion control and eating a lot more fresh veggies and fruit to achieve this. I know I have the exercise thing under control and good eating habits, but now I need to step it up and get better eating habits. More fiber less sugar and clean protein. I've done this and now I need to do it and then maintain, if that means weighing myself more often then I'm going to do that. This is not my set weight and I can get back to where I should be, so I'm in my forties I'm over it and want to lose it. It's time.

    I've already lost 5 % and I've only been at this less then 3 weeks, I'm on track and hoping to reach this small goal and push to my ultimate goal weight. My blood sugar is fine, it must have just been a fluke. Hoping to increase my muscle mass, decrease my waist and decrease those pounds. I'm getting there.
