My partner and I have been involved in the process of selling our house...our home. We're looking to downsize a bit, especially the effort to keep our park of a yard in pristine condition. Most all the credit for our beautiful yard goes to my partner. We had a massive yard sale today and sold, gave away and donated everything that will be good for others but no longer useful for us. With the help of friends, we pulled it off with out a hitch. Our house was listed last week. Our realtor has our first Open House next week. We'll see how it goes.
Here are some photos of our house and yard:
Hope you enjoyed your virtual walk in our peaceful Zen garden.
"I have chosen to be HAPPY because it is good for my health." In any case, I have decided that it makes sense to savor more of the good of this life and to seek joy in each smile I see and each sunset that I am blessed to enjoy.
I've been struggling with what to say about what happened at the Marathon in Boston. I know that it is far more personal for you who are runners than it is for me. I know some of you are runners who competed and met the Boston Marathon challenge as a personal experience. I have not. I never will. And yet, I personally feel one with you and with the others who run and those who have now faced the ultimate challenge. I am so sorry for what happened. I am solidly with you and with the others who will not stop, those who will continue to run, those who will meet the bigger challenges of this more complex world by simply taking one step…and then, another.
All blessings to you. For all you do. For all they do.
