Day 3 and it sucks:-(

Well this is day 3 of my lifestyle change and I'm already getting tired. Tracking my food is getting on my nerves because it's too time consuming. My body shut down yesterday at LA Fitness during a class( super embarassing)! I don't think I consumed enough calories. ***sigh*** This lifestyle change is harder than I thought, but I'm not giving up!!!

    It is hard...I just started with Sparkpeople about a week ago and I know what you are feeling; hang in there though...give yourself a big pat on the back for being here with us :) emoticon

    If you feel like tracking is too time consuming, find a way to make notes of what you ate throughout the day. I make notes on my phone when I need to and just enter it in later in the day. Even if it leads to you going over your calories, it will show you where you can maybe cut some out (or add in if you are not eating enough).
Definitely make sure that you are eating enough to sustain your workouts. The entire point of exercising is to be able to put in every bit of effort that you can, so make sure that you have some protein and good carbs a little while before a gym/workout session. It will eventually become like second nature to do these things so stick with it, because you can do this!!

Day 2

Day 2 of my lifestyle change and it's not bad! I discovered that i get hungry in the late afternoon so I have to pack a snack so I won't binge eat. I also have to take this time and read the bible more. Well, 28 more days to go. Today I'm going to the gym. I also need to find time to sneak a few workouts in during the day. I have a desk job, which doesn't help with little exercise I aready do :-( ....but that's all changing!!!

Day 1 of my 30 day life change regimen and I'm scared as heck! I don't want to say the word diet because it downplays it. I'm trying to change my mindset and whole lifestyle.I'm scared of failure and success...I guess just the unknown. I'm scared that now the devil is going to try to come harder. No matter what, I have to remember that he has to ask God for permission and God isn't going to allow more than what I can handle. ***sigh*** Here we go... round 1!!!!

It seems when I'm trying to live my life right bad things continue to happen. Well enough is enough! I can't control what happens to me, but I can definitely control what I do to ME! At first I was a little skeptical about this whole blog thing. I was raised to "keep your dirty laundry in the house", but I also believe that is what's wrong with us (as a society) now. We feel everyone else is doing better than us because they make it look that way. So we work and work to try to keep up with the Joneses, but to no avail. People don't realize that that "loving" married couple in public can't stand each other at home. Or that single mother who makes everything look so easy, but cries herself to sleep every night because she's so tired. We can do it and I'm going to show you better than I can tell you!

    Always remember you never know everyone's story. i get so aggravated when people are judgmental, i.e. with homeless people or people who don't dress or think like we do ... You do not know what is going on in a person's life ... You do not know who God is working on and in what way!
You can only control YOU ... and what you send out.
